Forest Grove Veterinary Clinic is proud to offer a full range of services to meet the health needs of your furry companion (cats and dogs). In home visits are available in many cases. One of our technicians, Lynnsey, is certified in Low Stress Handling, Fear Free Certified and has her Veterinary Technician Specialty (VTS) in behaviour.
An important step in maintaining the health and happiness of your pet is to schedule an appointment with a qualified veterinarian. Our professional and friendly staff will be happy to assist you and your pet during your visit. We have separate canine and feline examination rooms in order to reduce stress while visiting our hospital, as well as a comfort room that is reserved for one-on-one consultations and acupuncture. We offer digital xray (including digital dental xray).
In an added effort to provide your pet with quality care, we offer pet dental services in our veterinary office. It is estimated that 80% of pets exhibit the beginning stages of periodontal disease by age 3, which is why dental exams and teeth cleanings are essential. Also, studies indicate that pets with good oral hygiene tend to live 2 to 4 years longer than pets who neglect dental care.
Our facility is equipped to handle routine soft tissue surgeries. Soft tissue refers to anything not involving bones; biopsies, spay and neuter, and foreign body removal are all various types of soft tissue surgery. It is standard procedure to intensively monitor your pet's levels during anesthesia and throughout the entire surgery.

This Vet clinic is top notch! My wife and I were looking at different clinics near us and glad we booked with Forest Grove Clinic. Dealing with the staff is very friendly and helpful when booking our appointment. Very respectful and did not make us feel bad for rearranging appointment times.
We dealt with Dr. Leah Frei. She absolutely amazing and super helpful with any questions we had. Her expertise really shows when dealing with our pup Quavo! He felt super comfortable and according to the doctor, did great on his first visit. We did a wellness check and got some vaccines and it was smooth.

Booked my 13 week pup for his 2nd set of shots. My puppy was able to get his shots with ease. I had a TON of questions (as most new puppy owners do) and Lynnsey (animal behaviour specialist) went absolutely above and beyond to answer them all in the detail I needed. The knowledge I learnt is invaluable and has helped smooth over the worries I had as a new puppy owner with my partner. I am extremely grateful!

I was really impressed with the service of this clinic! This is not my typical vet clinic, but they were willing to squeeze me in late in the evening and see my cat, who suddenly wasn’t bearing weight on his back leg. Despite being squeezed in, the veterinarian I saw, Dr. Hay, took her time with me and my cat, and did a really thorough examination and found a break in his foot via x-ray. Brought my 3 month old border collie in for vaccinations and a checkup. The vet discussed vaccinations he needs and doesn't need based on where my dog would be going and what risks he would be exposed to. He had one chipped tooth that looked like it needed to be removed but they said it wasn't causing pain and would fall out within a month. They also sent tons of helpful information home with me, as well as a free chew toy. My dog left happier than he went in. Great place.

I Highly recommend this place! Dr Frei is awesome, and my dog really likes her. They provide fantastic care, are very calm and spend the time chatting with you to really explain and make you feel as comfortable as your pet does. Prices are very reasonable and fair. I have a 14 year old dog and this is one of the best vets I’ve ever taken her to!

Felt very taken advantage of. A easy puppy checkup turned into a $300 visit because he needed a medication for a fungal infection in his ear (that didn’t do anything ended up going to a better vet) and vet “ insisted “ she saw 1 egg in his ear and needed to get their deworming treatment even though he had already received some the previous week,… and felt very much like they were doing as much as they could to rack the bill up before I left. The vets at this clinic have always been absolutely amazing! I have two cats and they always treat them so well. You can tell that the vets and technicians at this clinic genuinely care about your pets. When my one baby had to be hospitalized, they went out of their way to take care of him. Additionally, they will always provide estimates of costs if you ask, identify which treatments/vaccines they recommend and why, while always giving you the option. If you've ever needed vet services, this is without the doubt the place to visit. The folks at Forest Grove Vet are so professional and kind, if you are searching for a new vet DO consider them. Our cat of ten years developed stomach cancer and the staff were very informative about options and gently walking us through the steps. The prices are quite reasonable and the staff are above and beyond helpful. Dr Tedesco checked in with us a couple times via text a few days after starting our puppy on antibiotics to make sure she was doing well, which exceeded my expectations for a vet. They do free dental exams here for their patients and welcome you to call anytime with any questions. I also had a behavioral therapy session with Lindsay, which was really informative and helpful for training my puppy. Highly recommend this place.

Last evening we had a scary incident with our 4 month old Boston. Poor little guy had an allergic reaction to something he found on his walk outside of our apartment. By the time we got him inside and into the bath, he couldn't stop sneezing, couldn't catch his breath, his eyes were swelling, and his tongue was sticking out. We immediately went to… the clinic, even though our puppy wasn't a registered patient. The power at the clinic was out because of the storm; we worried we would be turned away. Our 4 month-old Boston Terrier had an allergic reaction to a foxtail (plant). Our dog wasn’t a registered patient and the power was out in the area. We thought we might get turned away, but that was never an… issue. Dr. Frei and her co-worker acknowledged that some of their services were not available, but they would do everything they could to assess our dogs symptoms.
