Dave completed a Bachelor of Science degree in 1985 and a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 1987 at the University of Alberta in Edmonton, Alberta. He obtained a dentist licence from what is now the Alberta Dental Association and College in 1987.
Before buying Tri-Town Dental Centre through David Lowry Professional Corporation in 2008 he owned, and worked as a licenced dentist at, his own dental offices in Fort Macleod, Alberta from 1991 to 2002 and in Lethbridge, Alberta from 2002 to 2009.Prior to that he worked as a licenced associate dentist at other dental offices in Alberta.

Bone grafting can repair implant sites with inadequate bone structure due to previous extractions, gum disease or injuries. The bone is either obtained from bovine bone, cadaver bone or your own bone. When we use your own bone we take it from your jaw, hip or tibia (below the knee). Bone grafts to increase the vertical height of bone in the back upper jaw are also routinely performed.
Tri-Town Dental Centre* offers a range of cosmetic procedures such as Pinhole Surgical Technique gum recession treatment (see below for more information), tooth whitening, bonding, all-ceramic porcelain crowns and veneers that can help give you the dazzling smile you're looking for. Over the years your teeth naturally lose their lustre.
If you've lost teeth due to an accident, injury, decay or gum disease, we can create a permanent bridge to restore your complete smile. A bridge not only fills the gap, but it also prevents re-positioning of your remaining teeth. It can also correct a mis-aligned bite, improve chewing function and speech articulation, and provide internal structure for the face to give you a more appealing appearance.

I’ve always had a wonderful experience, the ladies at the front desk are always cheerful and friendly, the atmosphere warm and inviting and Dr. Van Horne was amazing to work with, even with my anxiety she was gentle and understanding when I needed a break, I highly recommend going out. I’ve always had a great experience.

Highly do not recommend Dr. Lowry and his technicians, who are all rude. After three months has passed since badly fitted crowns in my mouths, I am still experiencing problems , there is no desire to help me., to correct their mistake. Quote from the doctor:”I DO NOT KNOW WHY YOU BITE YOUR CHEEK!” ? How this attitude can be possible. He is rude, put you on defensive, and always in a hurry to leave. He left me with big discomfort in my mouth, big money wasted and in tears on their parking lot. Very unethical.
