Riggs Engineering was hired by the Elgin Military Museum to assist on the marine engineering components of the project that brought HMCS Ojibwa, a cold war submarine to Port Burwell, Ontario. Our tasks included ensuring that the harbour bottom was dredged to sufficient grades and the design of the shore transfer dock.
Riggs Engineering was retained by Nor Eng Engineering and Construction Inc. to provide civil and structural engineering services for repairs to the Timiskaming Dam Complex. Repairs to piers, sluices, and new automated stop log lift assemblies were completed. The marsh boardwalk at Point Pelee National Park is a 1 km long loop which spans across open ponds and among cattails.
