Anesthesia and patient monitoring varies greatly among clinics. When you choose your veterinarian, be sure to question the types of anesthetics used and the protocols for monitoring anesthesia. Our staff and facility allow us to deal with a variety of medical conditions your pet may experience. We hope we do not have to see you or your pet for an emergency but if we do, we are equipped to handle the situation.

Although we are open at Highview and Meadows Animal Clinic at 8:00am-5:30pm (Highview) and 8:00am-5:30pm (Meadows) weekdays, our appointment times are different. The first appointment of the day is at 8:40am and our last appointment of the day is at 5:00pm. The reason we are open past appointment times is for pick up of pets, food or medications.

Highview is located on the north side of Thunder Bay and Meadows on the south side making it convenient for clients to access the clinic closest to their home. Our clinics currently employ 5 veterinarians and 22 full time and part time staff members who fulfill a variety of positions including receptionists, veterinary technicians, veterinary assistants and animal care attendants.

In the event of a pet emergency during clinic hours please call in advance so we can prepare for your arrival and give your pet top priority: 767-1615 (Highview) or 577-6491 (Meadows). After hours, please call the Nurses' Registry at 623-7451 and they will get you in contact with the veterinarian on call.
