In 2012, RGT Clouthier Construction celebrated it's 30th anniversary as an incorporated company. Here is a brief timeline of our history. Gerry and Timmy Clouthier are two brothers who start Pembroke Machine Shop. The business is located inside Valley Truck and Spring Service on Bruham Road in Pembroke, a business owned by their brothers, Billy and Doug Clouthier.
The company expands into constrution when Gerry and Timmy Clouthier invite their brother, Bobby (Robert) to for a construction business. The company is called R.G.T. Clouthier Construction Limited, named for Robert, Gerry and Timmy. The trio purchases the Clouthier Industrial garage on Matthews Avenue in Laurentian Valley from their brother, Romeo.

R.G.T. Clouthier Construction Ltd. has been a part of the community for over 30 years. We have grown as the community has grown, and are proud to be a part of the new developments happening in the Ottawa Valley. When you live in the community you work in, you drive past your work on a daily basis so it is important to do a professional job that serves the entire community.
In addition to working on a variety of developments for other developers, we also have a few developments of our own in Petawawa to help address the growing demand for housing and services. Our most recent projects include the residential housing development of Limestone Trail and the combined residential and commercial development of Petawawa Town Centre.
R.G.T. Clouthier Construction Ltd. is a trusted name when it comes to municipal construction work. Having handled hundreds of projects in over 30 years, we have worked extensively throughout Renfrew County and surrounding areas in Eastern Ontario. Our municipal work has included steetscaping, road re-construction and extensions, sewer and watermain replacement, concrete work and associated construction such as sidewalks and curbs.
Heavy Civil Construction work has been a key part of R.G.T. Clouthier Construction's growth for over 30 years. Our involvement in heavy civil constrution infrastructure projects includes full road reconstruction, land develoment, highway construction and structural rehabilitation. We also perform civil infrastructure repairs, maintenance and rehabilitation for a wide range of customers.
The aggregate business has been part of R.G.T. Clouthier Construction Ltd. since 1982. Many projects in the Ottawa Valley and beyond have been made possible due to aggregate from several of our producing locations. We are committed to providing high quality aggregates which results in high durability and performance.
