The hospital, which is located on 805 Kalamalka Lake Road, right across from the Vernon Golf and Country Club, is a large, bright, air conditioned facility with indoor kennels and outdoor runs. We offer a wide range of services including medical, diagnostic, surgical, and preventive health care needs for your pet so they live a longer, healthier, happier life. One of the best things you can do for your pet is to keep him or her healthy. And one of the easiest and least expensive ways to do that is by bringing in your pet for regular exams and vaccinations.
When you arrive for your appointment, you will be greeted warmly, and we will usher you into an examination room as soon as we have one available. Our goal is to see all of our clients and patients on time, and although we have contingencies for emergencies, there will be times where the unexpected will create delays.

We now know that animals experience pain in much the same way as people. We use our knowledge of pain medication and pain relief strategies to prevent and manage pain. Our team of veterinarians and veterinary technicians provides many services at our clinic, ranging from routine to advanced procedures.

Absolutely the worst and least compassionate people to deal with. No real care or concern for your pets. Moody bunch that plays games with your fur babies lives. DO NOT TRUST!!! Completely unprofessional. I’m still waiting for a same day call back 6 days later on an emergent matter. I’ve had two bad experiences here that’s enough. Fool me twice shame on me. I’ve moved on down the street where the people actually love animals and show it.

They took such good care of my little Stella in an urgent situation without hesitation. They also have done many procedures with her with amazing patient & “mommy” care, making sure I was update and kept in… touch with during and after procedure. Pre-covid and during covid, their care never changed. The girls in the front are so wonderful, as well as vets, & techs. I’m so thankful! I am an out of town patient, and will continue to come to them.

We have been taking our pups to this clinic for a few years now and have been so happy with the quality of service we have received. We particularly deal with Dr. Suvi Frayn and she has been amazing! She is knowledgeable, thorough and explains things very well. Her love and compassion for the animals is demonstrated by the trust my pups give her when we leave them in her care. She has gone out of her way to help us many times by calling after hours to check-in and exploring medication options that don’t break the budget. We highly recommend the team at Vernon Vet Clinic!!

I recieved the BEST service from Vernon Vet Clinic last week for emergency dental surgery for my dog Sophie. Everyone from the receptionist I talked to on the phone, to the lady under the tent I bought my dog food from to the assistant's that brought Sophie into the clinic and out of the clinic and especially the dentist who I spoke to on the phone… and he assured me in my crying state that he would take great care of her, and even phoned the next morning to see how she was doing😊 I highly recommend Vernon Vet Clinic. Thank you so much to all of you for being great people❤

Dr. Philip Carbert is the kindest, most caring and knowledgable vet I have ever dealt with. He made sure our cat received the best medical care and took the time to communicate and made sure we understood exactly what was going on. He even came in over the weekend to look after her when the office was closed. Our fur baby Emma received 6 days… of over night care and constant medication. Dr. Carbert always made sure to let us know the cost of the care Emma was receiving so we weren't blindsided by the final invoice, but I can say I was blindsided because it was MUCH less than I had expected

It's Christmas Eve and we're from the coast visiting my folks for the holiday. My 14-year old rat terrier had a spill two days ago and the limp the morning of the 24th looked a bit too serious. I went down the list of local vets and didn't have any luck until we called Vernon Vet Clinic. A receptionist named Tammy was genuinely concerned and made sure we got in to see a doctor within the hour. Doctor Phil looked at our dog with the same concern and expertise as our home vet. Sad face I want to give them five stars. Too many negative experiences not to share. Also note that the reception staff is amazing. Do not take your bird here. They said they would be right back with our bird..45 min later they and come back with him bleeding, hyperventilating and never seen him such a state of disarray, AND they made us pay full price. Next time I came in I requested the same doctor for my ferret (we have been seeing him since we moved 11 years ago). He avoided me I ended up fending off dogs in the waiting room for almost an hour and then saw a different doctor. No one said anything

I was talked into giving my dog blood work for medication levels along with a checkup. The vet made no effort to contact me about the $200.00 work. I called 3 times to hear about the results. Finally had this vet call me back when I wasn't home, she said she'd get back to me the next day. Never heard anything, ever. A visit I had 6 months before this visit with my other dog. The meds. she prescribed was twice as strong as what my dog was getting previously, and didn't work. I had requested the vet. to order in the proper

Vernon vet clinic has been fabulous. We have 3 dogs, one being kinda special needs. Dr. David Leminski has been fabulous with our collie husky who has come a long way. Dr. Frayn was good with our bug puppy. Have moved quite a bit and dealt with different vet clinics, we are very happy with this clinic
