Brack Animal Hospital is a full service, small animal veterinary hospital providing comprehensive medical, surgical and dental care for pets for over 60 years. Dr. Bill Brack established the hospital in 1954 out of his small white house where the parking lot is now located. In 1991 Drs. Jackson and Howarth commissioned the construction of the present hospital.
It was designed and equipped to serve the needs of present and future veterinary medicine and surgery. In 2006, the hospital and practice were sold to Dr. Darlene House who remains the current proprietor and managing veterinarian. Our hospital is equipped to provide a wide variety of medical services including general wellness, vaccination, surgical, advanced diagnostic, and emergency. Our ability to perform many diagnostic procedures in-house often enables us to obtain immediate answers and thereby begin treatment plans quickly.

We are happy to make an appointment for you. Please complete and submit the information requested below. Once we receive your submission, we will contact you to confirm the date and time or propose another option that is as close to your request as possible. If your appointment has not been confirmed within 24 hours, please feel free to contact the practice by phone to confirm.
Payment is due at the time services are rendered. When unexpected illness strikes a pet, unexpected expense can strike as well. If you will not be able to pay for services at the time they are rendered, you may consider pre-arranging financing through the PetCard program. PetCard is an independent, niche market lender in the veterinary industry that has been helping pet owners since 1996.

I would give a lower rating but 1 is the lowest. My first cat recently had cancer and I wanted to do what I could for him. I was prescribed medicines which I thought would prolong his life but to no avail as he had to be put down two months later. All the money and suffering having to take medicines. We know somebody made some money. I just took my other cat in for urinary issue. It ended up he was very stressed and they decided to give him a bath to clean up some urine. He took off and ended him injuring his paws. The cat went in for help and came out with an injury to his paws.

Only vet in Essex County that has a bird doctor and I have a bird emergency. But was told too bad the avian Dr.House isn't available until maybe friday--so you will need to call around. On calling around every other vet told me to call Brack back for an emergency and still I was still denied any care for my African grey parrot.

Being dealing with bracks for a long time with my pets and today I'm needing to put my senior cat to sleep so she's not suffering a slow death.I get told theres no appointments available, I'm sorry but where is your compassion for the animal.We don't know when our pets are going to pass or get ill that this service would be needed to help our pets.
Just disgusted that I was told to shop around to find a place that could help me.Unbelievable
