After earning my Honours Bachelor of Science in Pharmacology and Physiology from the University of Western in 1981, I continued my studies at Western and earned my doctorate from the School of Dentistry in 1989. From there I completed an Advanced General Dentistry (AGD) residency at the United States Dental Activity in Fort Knox, KY.

We are now providing all general dentistry care! Nothing is more important to us than protecting the health and safety of our patients, team members, and community. In the past few weeks, as mandated and recommended by our regulatory body (RCDSO), we have limited our practice to emergency care, but now, we are very happy to announce that our doors are once again open to non-urgent (but important!)

I want to thank the staff and everyone at Westwood family dentistry They are fantastic and amazing They understood what I wanted To be honest I was totally petrified petrified in going in to see the dentist they made me feel very very comfortable I would recommend them for anybody especially those that are nervous.

My experience was excellent at West Ridge Dentistry. Dr. Bashar, the dentist, and Roger, the hygienist, were very professional, pleasant and made me feel very comfortable visiting the clinic. I would definitely recommend this business to anyone searching for medical treatment. The front desk personnel, Emily, made me feel welcome and was most helpful and congenial.

Once again, Roger did a great job cleaning my teeth and helping me stay on top of any trouble areas. He has some awesome tools that show detailed progress from visit to visit. I was looking for a dental office as we recently moved. West Ridge Family Dentistry was able to get me an appointment quickly when I broke a tooth. Online paperwork saves time and was easy to fill out. I saw Jessica and Dr. Bushar. Both explained exactly what they were going to do. They were very friendly and knowledgeable. I will be returning for follow up treatment and would not hesitate to recommend this dental office.

Today was the most positive experience I have ever had at a dental office. I have had a lot of work done since a young child and as a result I am very anxious when visiting the dentist. Today I had two restorative fillings done and a wisdom tooth out and I am shocked at how easy it all was. Dr. Piercy is phenomenal! So glad I switched to this dental office!

I had a dental emergency during COVID and had to have a tooth extracted. All the staff were very friendly and efficient. Dr. Collins was excellent before and after. I have scheduled appointments for additional work to be done. I can honestly say that this is the first dentist I have seen that I felt comfortable with.
