Positive: Responsiveness
Technician was running a bit late, however I was kept informed about that. On arrival, checking what we had tried to restart the rooftop unit without success was verified, requiring going on rooftop. Found issue quickly, repaired and reset, all done in under an hour. Nice and warm. Thank you Shipton's.

They arrived promptly and installed a new high efficiency furnace and humidifier including new duct work and PVC pipes to the outside in just over 4 hours. They brought their own floormats and took away all the old equipment for us as well. We have been using Shipton's in our family since 1970 and proudly support local. Always quick, efficient service!

Don’t waste your time on this unprofessional company. Phoned them three times last year with no reply. Today they were scheduled to service my fireplace and called to reschedule 25 min before window of appointment . They wanted to rebook next week. I asked ‘ how do I know you won’t do the same thing next week?’ She didn’t have an answer. So, I’m supposed to take another day off next week with the hope they will show! Maybe, they need more staff to deal with their so called emergencies.

Great local business owned by a great Hamilton family! Joshua the technician visited my home to diagnose and repair an air conditioning problem I was having.
He arrived quickly and the job was done professionally and cleanly. The next time I need furnace/air conditioning service (or installation) I will be calling Shipton's.

Called Shiptons to book appointment for furnace issue,receptionist answered phone giggling.She finally calmed down enough to take my call.I booked an appointment for a couple of days later and no one showed up for scheduled appointment . I CALLED AGAIN and was told I would be called back shortly to let me know when serviceman would arrive..Never did get a call back. Was happy with Shiptons in the past but found this experience unacceptable . Have since found a new contractor

So, first off let me say my furnace broke. I'm not a furnace service technician so that was the initial extent of my knowledge before I called shiptons for service. I had no heat.
Service call #1 - someone showed up, opened the cover, reset the furnace and that was about it. He was on the job for less than 10 minutes. 89$ for a piece of paper that said "might be a capacitor issue" the furnace worked for appx. 5 mins after the fellow left. So, I immediatly called Shiptons and informed them that I would need a return call and that my expectation would be that I would not be charged
