At the Peterborough Construction Association, we represent companies from the City and Counties of Peterborough, City of Kawartha Lakes, Northumberland, Hastings, Haliburton and Durham Region. Our members are General Contractors, Trade Contractors, and Manufacturers, Supply, & Service Companies and firms interested in the commercial, industrial and institutional fields of construction.
Our Board of Directors meet monthly to discuss the best ways to encourage growth in our field through promotion, networking, community involvement, training and collaboration. In order to foster a feeling of community, we have regular networking and social events and ad-hoc committee meetings to ensure that we are aware of what is happening within our membership and the construction industry as a whole.

Services
The Peterborough and District Construction Association exists to bring together members of the construction trade, commercial and industrial sub-contractors and associates to create an environment of collaboration. Through networking, education and shared information, our ultimate goal is to increase the profile of local businesses in order to increase profitability and ultimately create jobs and improve the quality of life in the region.
The ultimate goal of the Peterborough and District Construction Association is to bring our members together to work collectively towards increasing the profile of companies in the region. These companies employ local workers and therefore create jobs and profitability for the community. The percentage of our members who are most likely to work with another company who is a member of the PDCA/Locally operated!
The Plans Room is available to Peterborough and District Construction Association members to be able to review plans in a comfortable space. Plans are sent to the PDCA office electronically via the owner, architect, or construction manager of the project. These can be viewed in our plans room located in our office at 494 The Parkway, Unit 2, Peterborough.
BuildForce Canada is a national organization committed to the development of a highly skilled construction workforce. One of their ongoing programs is the development of online courses. BuildForce Canada's E-Learning Centre offers a comprehensive catalogue of online training courses designed to promote the professional development of individuals working in the Canadian construction and maintenance industry.
The Peterborough & District Construction Association is a member of the Council of Ontario Construction Associations (COCA). The Council of Ontario Construction Associations (COCA) is a federation of construction associations, the largest and most representative group of Industrial, Commercial Institutional (ICI) and heavy civil construction employers in the province.
