His vision carries over from his fathers civil business following the same heavy civil industry. Norcope started with seasonal gold mining and when prices declined moved into the civil construction sector. With a very small crew and within a short time Norcope grew 100% per year and today to include 50 employees, adding a concrete division, and a highway truck stop.

I was solicited for a position at norcope by Doug Gonder He offered me the position. Within his email he agreed to pay flight reimbursement to get here from Ontario a vehicle and accommodation in white horse. I let him know I was bringing my 13 year old son as I have full custody of my child. He took the offer off the table. I called him and explained having a child would not interfere with my work as I typically hire child care.
