When we were young, going to the dentist was not a problem for most of us. We sat in a cool chair, we wore cool glasses, we were told we were doing a great job brushing our teeth and we maybe got a prize at the end. Life was good. Then we got older and the necessary procedures were not so fun. Anxiety is one of the top reasons people put off going to see the dentist, but Dr. Dan and his caring staff have the solution: sedation dentistry.
Oftentimes root canal treatment (typically just called a "root canal") have a bad reputation or cause patient stress. However, it doesn't have to! Sometimes fear is caused by not knowing what is going to happen. The staff at Dr. Dan Dental will always explain any procedure that you may have questions about, but here is a short explanation of the procedure.
Whether you have a single tooth to be extracted (with or without sedation) or all four wisdom teeth, you can expect some bleeding from the surgery site, bruising in the mid/lower face, swelling, difficulty opening the jaws from stiffness of the muscles, and (rarely) damage to nearby teeth and/or restorations during the operation.

My heartfelt thanks to Dr Dan and his staff. I spent my morning sleeping peacefully, while having several normally unpleasant procedures done. I have had countless oral surgeries over the last 40 years, this was by far the best experience.

I recently had a very good experience with Dr. Dan Dental. I do not have good experiences with dentists, it has been several years since I've been to one. I felt my condition had almost become an emergency but with no insurance, income or benefits my hope was to get government assistance and found Dr. Dan's clinic did emergency work and I just… wanted to get information on the options The staff was very helpful when I called and gave me the info I needed, but they also offered a free consultation with an opening in an hour so I thought why not. Love this clinic. The staff are great and Dr Dan is a wonderful dentist. I've always hated the dentist but I feel more comfortable here than I ever have at another dentist. Dr Dan took a look at my son when we had a concern and didn't even charge us for the visit because he said there was nothing to be concerned about. I since went back to… FINALLY get my back molar replaced with an implant and the price was lower than anywhere else I was quoted. I now have a new tooth and plan to get the other side done in Spring. I highly recommend this clinic. Comfortable, clean, modern and friendly.
