Arrowwood Animal Hospital is proud to serve the Winnipeg Manitoba area for everything pet related. Our veterinary hospital is owned by Dr. Patricia Danko, who is a licensed, experienced Winnipeg veterinarian. Our team is committed to educating our clients regarding how to keep your pets healthy year round, with good nutrition and exercise.
Our appointment book is computerized which allows us to efficiently make appointments for you and your pet. We will attempt to accommodate all requests. Emergencies are accepted anytime our clinic is open. If you feel you have an emergency with your pet, please call us or come to the hospital immediately.
This let's us record our pet and owners into our management software so that we can effectively and efficiently provide the service you deserve! You can also sign up for our monthly newsletter to keep up on current health issues and news and events in our office. The online newsletter sign-up is also on the right.
When you are looking for a veterinary hospital you should be able to count on high quality medical care and excellent service. 1. Payment is required when services are rendered. In order to focus on our patients' needs, customer service and minimizing costs, we do not bill. All cards must be signed by the owner of the card. 3. When unexpected illness strikes a pet, unexpected expense strikes as well. Arrowwood Animal Hospital understands this and is able to make some special arrangements through the Pet Card Program.

Dr. Patricia and the Arrowwood Animal Hospital are fantastic. Dr. Patricia has helped me several times navigate potential issues and explains the pros and cons in order to make the best informed decisions for my pup. The vets here were extremely helpful, my dog is not used to going to the vet at all. He was scared, the vets were patient and helped me calm him down. Vet bills are normally pricey, thanks to the explanation by the one vet, we were able to work out a plan that helps me bring my dog in regularly and the make it so that the price isn't a large weight on my shoulders. They were very understanding and helpful. They did not push unnecessary purchases on me, instead they helped me work out the payments and ensure my pup is well cared for.

Dr. Danko really cares. She is amazing and very compassionate. I love taking my cats to her because she will take the time and explain to me what is going on with them. She gives me all the options I need to make the best decision for my fur baby. I have definitely found my kitties Vet for life. Thank you Dr Danko and team for always being so accommodating and caring.

My family had the sad duty of putting one our family to sleep. Zoey felt no stress, she passed feeling no fear only love and support. The people here made one of the saddest things family’s go through a little less hurtful. This was the only place that allowed both my wife and I in to see her in the end. That is why we came. We will return due to the caring of the staff and the professionalism. You will see the rest of my furry family soon. Thank you for helping us.

It didn't very long for us and our dog to feel comfortable with Dr. Danko. This is clearly not just a job for her...it is her passion. She is friendly, approachable and very knowledgeable. She communicates in a language that we understand and she has helped us make informed decisions regarding our pet's health. She is patient and answers all of our questions without making us feel rushed. Trust in a vet is very important to us....and we truly feel that our pet is good hands with Dr. Danko. The clinic is welcoming and clean with ample parking.
