NUCCA stands for 'National Upper Cervical Chiropractic Association', and is an important approach to our healthcare. The focus of NUCCA is to restore the alignment between the upper cervical spine (neck) and its influence on the central nervous system and brain stem function. The atlas, being the top bone in the neck, supports and holds up the head.
On your first visit to Advanced Wellness Clinic, the doctor will sit down with you and listen to your concerns. Any health problems, injuries, accidents and surgeries including any diagnostic tests, MRI's and x-rays will be addressed. He will then discuss those concerns with you, explain the NUCCA procedure, and inform of the potential it has to help your specific concerns.
Very important, misalignments when caught early, can uncover and remove interference to the nervous system preventing many conditions from developing. It can also get you back on the path towards a healthier and happier you. NUCCA promotes healing, is preventative and is beneficial for all ages.
The top bone in the neck (Atlas) houses the bottom portion of the brainstem, a misalignment of the Atlas bone creates pressure on that area leading to neurological dysfunction within the body.This can cause the postural muscles to tighten up putting pressure on the discs and nerves leading to disfunction/pain.

I followed Dr. J Ausmus from his previous practice because the care he provides his patients is unparalleled. He is professional, extremely knowledgeable and very personable. It is obvious he cares deeply about the health and well-being of his patients. In addition, the Advanced Wellness Clinic staff makes each visit amazing. The office manager Crystal is friendly, kind, organized and gets to know each person who walks in the door. Wonderful practice built by wonderful people!

Dr. Jordan Ausmus is amazing! I started going to him after I had tried everything for my migraines and was still getting way too many despite all the meds the neurologist had me taking. (I had also already tried a regular chiro with no success). I still get migraines, but not nearly as many, take far fewer meds and my body now tells me when I need a visit (when a migraine isn’t from another obvious trigger). Also, my 4 times per year emergency visits are no more. I can’t say enough good things about my experience or his clinic!

I have been seeing Dr. Jordan Ausmus for 3 years and he is great! He takes his time with you and listens to all your concerns. I have never had to wait for more than 15 minutes for my treatment, as he is usually on time. The treatment is gentle and efficient. The staff at this clinic are all very friendly. (especially Crystal) the first person you will meet.

Dr. Asmus and his amazing staff are very welcoming. The office manager Crystal is so sweet, I love the personal feeling of when she escorts you to the room and takes a moment out of her very busy schedule just to have a little chat. I was recommended from a friend to see Jordan to help with my migraines that I have been suffering with for years. Once I started to see Jordan over a course of several months on my weekly basic appointments he managed to help to get them down to a minimum now I go monthly for follow up adjustments. I will continue to go and hopefully to get rid of the migraines for good. I feel so much better and my sleep habit has also improved as well with more energy! Thanks again Jordan your a life saver!

Chiropractors who do it right. My entire extended family has seen benefits with the NUCCA chiropractic system. It makes sense to me as a layperson that it should all begin with the neck and the spine first. I have seen my hip and shoulder alignment greatly improve with treatments here. I highly recommend both practitioners, they are good people and great chiropractors.
