Had car problems driving through death valley. Came back to pahrump and stayed overnight. Went to 3 mechanics in town before being referred to Pete's.
Alec listen to my whole sob story and said he thought he knew exactly what the problem was. Got my car in right away and he was right. So happy I could hug everyone of the people there! They listened and took in everything I said without making me feel like I had no idea what I was talking about.

We experienced car trouble driving through Death Valley National Park recently. We limped our way to the Visitor Center in Furnace Creek and began making calls for a tow and service. I was so relieved to talk with Alec at Pete's Auto Clinic. He was kind and professional, and the car was towed to his shop later that evening, after hours. The car was ready to go at the end of the following day. Thank you so much, Alec!

They overcharged me and gave me an unitemized invoice When I called for explanation they gave me several different exclamations for the charges. I found them to be very dishonest. Make sure you check your invoice and have them itemize it. They also charge a 220 inspection see if you have your car towed in instead of the 65 if you drive it in.

The service was good. They performed a rear break job and serviced the coolant system, including changing the water pump on our Toyota Tacoma. The service was fast and the job was performed correctly. They did NOT wear a mask when we visited during a raging pandemic. We will return and other than the mask thing, they were professional.

Took my truck here for some fluid changes while on a road trip. The guys at Pete's got me in fast, work was tidy and charged a reasonable price. The next morning as I was leaving town I had diesel fuel leaking all over the ground. Called Pete's and they diagnosed and fixed the problem in less than two hours and got me back on the road. Overall very good experience with this shop.

I was an out of towner with lights flashing in my dash. I stopped by and let them take a look at and they did. They also got me back on the road the same day and I had no appointment. This place is great. Good price good service. I became a new client and was driving 90 miles to get my car fixed for the next year and half. Now I've move to far away to come. They won't tell you they are charging you anything until you get your keys back.
They will take advantage especially when you're a woman.
They will make you wait hours in their crappy stinky dirty waiting room and then lie about how long they made you wait.

Got the run around all day after numerous attempts on the phone as to status of the repair on our A/C on our car, we arrived there unexpectedly at closing time, and our car had not be touched or moved from the spot we left it in earlier in the morning. Half the time phone went unanswered! We were charged $150 for free-on coolant and some dye to test if A/C's compressor was broken, told us to come back in two weeks, that isn't happening for sure. We would never go there again. :-(

Nice facility and friendly staff. Cost is probably as high as a dealer. "Diagnosis" is $95. This seems to be the same whether test equipment is used or it is just a listen and a grunt. Shop rate is $105, HOWEVER it is based on book rated hours per service, which is notoriously high. Before taking my vehicle in for estimate, I had spoken with a former dealer mechanic to get an idea of the actual hours needed. I already knew cost of parts. Pete's gave price of $1525. It was done elsewhere for $818.
