Ingersoll Veterinary Services
I am a graduate of the Ontario Veterinary College in Guelph. ON. My late husband, Dr. Norm Harnack, and I purchased Ingersoll Veterinary Services in September of 1990. Since Dr Norm's passing in 2017 IVS is now a "small animal" only clinic. I enjoy the everyday challenges of keeping dogs and cats healthy and helping them when they are sick.

I have a soft spot for Bernese Mountain Dogs and orange tabby cats. In recent years I have taken a special interest in non- traditional healing methods. I have taken multiple courses in animal physical rehabilitation, animal acupuncture, and am certified by the American Veterinary Chiropractic Association in Veterinary Spinal Manipulation (aka animal chiropractics).
Services
Our cozy reception area is bright and houses some of our most popular veterinary exclusive diets and pet products. We have 3 exam rooms in the clinic, and use non-slip mats on floors and heating pads on the tables to make it more comfortable for your pet while here.

In the event your pet needs treatment or surgery they will be brought to the treatment area where we have a full in-house digital radiology (x-ray) equipment including a specialized dental x-ray unit.We also do in-house blood work as well as surgeries.
Routine wellness visits are a great way to help your pet live a healthy life for as long as possible. These visits can also help us catch potential health issues earlier and may help avoid additional costs associated with treatments if a disease goes undetected. We recommend bringing in your adult pet every year for a wellness exam.
It is important to keep vaccinations up to date as it helps to protect your pet from the illnesses and diseases that are present in our area. There are many fatal diseases to dogs and cats that can be prevented with properly maintained vaccinations.

Here in Oxford County there is a bylaw requiring all dogs and cats be vaccinated for rabies as soon as they are 3- 4 months old and their vaccination must be kept up to date for your pet's entire life.Depending on the vaccination the doctor uses, your pet must be vaccinated every 1 to 3 years to maintain.
Before any surgery, your pet will need a full exam by one of our veterinarians to ensure they are healthy enough to undergo the procedure. As well, we require all animals be vaccinated before surgery can be performed to both protect ourselves and other patients in the clinic from possible diseases.
Dental disease affects almost 85% of cats and dogs over one year of age. It is caused by the interaction of oral bacteria (plaque) and the animal's response to these bacteria and their toxins. Dental disease is the most common health concern for dogs. Your pet may show few obvious signs, and still suffer from one of the four stages of dental disease.

Very caring and compassionate when we had to let our 15 year old lab cross the rainbow bridge. The team didn't rush us at all and were so kind to us.

Very disappointed with the vet here. Our dog was put to sleep today. As a nurse I asked what kinds of medications she would be given to go to sleep first and how the process would work. The vet was extremely rude and told me I wouldn't know. This medication was pre drawn up when we walked in the room and not dosed properly to our dogs weight. The vet stated it would take 15-20mins and she would peacefully fall asleep. However this was not the case as 1 minute after the sedative our dog yelped and was gasping for air. She then proceeded to flop over as I yelled for the vet. The vet then took her

A Huge thank you to Dr. Lydia and her team for helping out my little Jack Russell Terrier Ruby who is 17 years old... She needed a tooth removed due to an accident, and Dr. Lydia went above and beyond and removed a lot of decaying, and rotten teeth to help her out... Thanks so much for caring, and helping out our best friend...

The ordinary people with loving pets cannot afford to take them to the vet every year. Also sat and waited almost an hour after my appointment time. Pretty sad!

My dog was bleeding out and they refused to take her in saying that due to covid they can’t accept new patients. We just moved to the area, she some how ripped her nail out playing in the yard and it was a medical emergency. I can’t believe this facility would let this happen to a dog with no other options around. They clearly don’t care about an animals well being if they can sit with themselves and let a dog bleed out.

Great vet! Very kind and professional when my dog passed away suddenly. They take good care of your fur babies and don't charge an arm and a leg

The simple truth about binary options which many of us do not know is the fact that it is mainly based on predictions. Without proper knowledge of what next can happen to the stock market, you are sure to lose your funds. That is why it is important to be tutored or mentored by a professional trader in binary options. During few days of being mentored by EL Raphael Bashir, I've learnt much and also succeeding in trades and has been doing successful withdrawals and was able to recover all my lost funds. Sharon Moore has been one of the best vets I have ever gone to with a pet. She is straight forward with what is going on with your pet and will never try to sell you on something she didnt think would benefit your pets health

Brought my senior cat here for the first time since moving to Ingersoll & very happy I did. He had dental surgery, stayed overnight twice and the girls and vet were awesome. They made me feel welcome and I knew they cared for him just as much as I do. They took photos for me after his surgery & contacted me to let me know it was all ok! Very pleased with going here, really felt comfortable.
