Pete was born in Langley and began his career as a residential finishing carpenter in 1992. A journeyman carpenter, Pete enjoys the fine details and craftsmanship that go into a custom home. Pete founded F. M. Construction in 1994 and in 2002, Pete decided he was interested in growing the business and exploring his creative instincts and passions in the house building process and began by building his first home.
Since that time, F. M. Construction has been building a small number of custom homes each year in the neighborhoods of Fort Langley South Surrey, Surrey, White Rock, North Vancouver, New Westminster, and Langley. With a goal of building "A Tradition of Fine Homes", Pete focuses on building respect, quality, craftsmanship and integrity - both in the projects he works on and the relationships he builds along the way.

It was a great experience working with FM, Pete and Marlene were great, professional and genuinely happy for us and our new home. Pete was always on top of the progress and pushed us in the right direction when decisions were crucial. I would have no hesitations in hiring FM - stop looking for a contractor you've found the one you need!!!
