Routine dental check-up and cleaning appointments are essential to the health of your mouth, and body. Patients may do an excellent job in caring for their teeth at home - but an exam and cleaning every 6 or so months from a professional is vital.
A check-up will help to ensure that patients are on the right track and aren't experiencing any oral health issues, and a professional cleaning will effectively remove stubborn plaque and tartar deposits from the teeth and below the gum line (something that can't be done with a toothbrush and floss alone).
