Dixon, Davis & Company grew out of Howard Dixon's many years of experience in the insurance industry when he noticed there was a gap to be filled. Financial planning appeared to be tied to the sale of a product, which Howard disagreed with. He began offering unbiased advice in areas related to cash management and income tax planning on a fee-for-service basis.
