We are a dental practice devoted to restoring and enhancing the natural beauty of your smile using conservative, state-of-the-art procedures that will result in beautiful, long lasting smiles! Dr. Dolson grew up in the Houston and Austin areas. She attended the University of Texas at Austin for her undergraduate degree in Biology. She went on to complete her Doctor of Dental Surgery at Baylor College of Dentistry TAMUS in 2000. Initially, the first six years after dental school she worked as a dentist with a group practice.
A preventive program is a cooperative effort by the patient, dentist, and dental staff to preserve the natural dentition and supporting structures by preventing the onset, progress, and recurrence of dental diseases and conditions. Preventing dental disease starts at home with good oral hygiene and a balanced diet.
A comprehensive dental exam will be performed by your dentist at your initial dental visit. Examination of diagnostic x-rays (radiographs): Essential for detection of decay, tumors, cysts, and bone loss. X-rays also help determine tooth and root positions. Oral cancer screening: Check the face, neck, lips, tongue, throat, tissues, and gums for any signs of oral cancer.
Digital radiography (digital x-ray) is the latest technology used to take dental x-rays. This technique uses an electronic sensor (instead of x-ray film) that captures and stores the digital image on a computer. This image can be instantly viewed and enlarged helping the dentist and dental hygienist detect problems easier.

The staff were very friendly and welcoming, I was VERY impressed with my whole experience at Solaris. I was very well informed of every detail during my examination. The hygienist was very gentle and made sure no pain or discomfort happened during my exam. I will definitely recommend to friends and family.

Fantastic service as always! My family and I have been loyal patients of Dr. Dolson and her staff since she opened her practice. Her entire staff is always professional and treats you more like friends instead of a patient. I have been coming here for the past 2 years, and I highly recommended to all my friends and family! Great group of providers! The Hygienist Jamie always goes above and beyond to make sure my teeth stay healthy and clean! Dr. Dolson, has done an amazing job overseeing my Invisalign process! She pays very close attention to every detail to make sure my processes is going in the right direction!

This review is a actually for Dr. Steven Ragsdale. I just had all four of my wisdom teeth pulled by him. The staff , his team and himself were excellent. He literally went over every bit of information and answered all questions. As for the surgery itself, I got in, they did what they needed to do and I was out. They did a damn good job. Luckily by the end of the day I was able to start talking some and the meds he prescribed really did their job. Just a big thank you to him for a job well done.

Solaris Dental was just a few minutes drive from home and we decided to try out their service. Even though there were few dental places around the area. We never regretted coming here. They have friendly staff and the service provided was excellent. Didn't have to wait for long. They explained things clearly to me & my son who was having his treatment.
