Pink Lotus Pho is a family owned restaurant that offers delicious traditional Vietnamese cuisine. Pho - pronounced as "fuh" - is a Vietnamese noodle soup consisting of rice noodles, broth, herbs, and meat. The unique flavor come from its rich broth which is made by simmering beef bones and assortment of herbs and spices for many hours, giving it an intense, complex layers of flavor.
Pho originated from Northern Vietnam in the early 1900s, where it was sold as a street food and traditionally eaten as a breakfast or lunch dish. After the communist rule, thousands of Northern Vietnamese fled to the South, bringing with them their love for pho. Under the communist party, however, pho restaurants became prohibited.

I've been ordering take out from here for over 2 years and I have to say the quality has dwindled drastically over time. I used to love it.
Keep in mind my experience is with take out, others seem to be having a good experience dining in still.
The online menu is never updated to reflect availability of food and it is very common for certain items especially beef to be unavailable.
Portions are pretty inconsistent as well. Sometimes good sometimes bad.
So I'd recommend not using online order or ordering take out at all.
I've had my order made wrong and much worse than it use to be so many

The food wasnt very enjoyable. The spring rolls don't even look like what they advertise. They were burnt and the oil is clearly old considering how dark the rolls came out. Soup wasn't anything special. The vermicelli bowl was okay just super small portion. The positive reviews must be from friends!

Oh this place is so good!!
We walked in on a rainy evening to try their pho but last minute decided to try their lemongrass chicken sandwich. So delicious!! Full of flavour and freshness. It was a tad dry but still so good. My husband got beef pho and the broth was so so comforting and yummy.
We went back there next week to pick up sandwiches and they were equally good. Pork sandwich was better than chicken.
Must try if you are around!!

I am not always in Fleetwood area. We came here with B and his grandma and mom. They never had Vietnamese food before and we decided to take them here.
We each ordered something different. We all ended up liking our food. I got the BBQ lemongrass Entree with bbq short ribs. It was tasty. Portion size was generous. The bbq short ribs had a very nice flavor to it. I do wish there were more veggies. Everyone else got the pho noodles. It was perfect for a cold day. Prices were very reasonable. Service was good given we are in the Covid times. I think our server who is also the cashier is the chef

Recently I had gone to this restaurant with 2 other people. We ordered pho,buon bo hue and salad rolls. as I ate the food i felt sick so i stopped eating. However, my 2 friends finished their food and minutes later one of them started puking in the washroom. my other friend was puking the whole morning. I'm really upset at what happened and I believe they served us old/ contaminated food.

Pho is my go-to when it comes to Vancouver's infamous cold and rainy days. It's warm, cozy and flavorful. We decided to try out Pink Lotus Cafe in Surrey. Pink Lotus Cafe is located in a plaza between Central and South Surrey. The interior wasn't too small but could have done with a bit of an upgrade as some of the chairs and tables were a bit raggedy.

The instant I entered this place, I was welcomed with a delightful smell of sauteed garlic and grilled meats; if only you can smell what I'm smelling right now. The menu has plenty of offerings and more variety than other pho places I have been to. The service is great and the staff are very kind. The food, smell includedl, is DELICIOUS! I will be making my way back here another day to try out their Bun Bo Hue (was gonna order it, but I already ordered 5 things lol.

I would say this is my fourth favorite place to go for pho. The broth is so good and flavorful, but the price is a little high for the amount of food that you get. The sauce for the spring rolls is also quite fishy. Couldn't get the taste outta my mouth, way too much fish sauce . But everything other than that was delicious.

Soooo!!! I stopped here for lunch expecting a typical Vietnamese restaurant but to my surprise a typical Vietnamese restaurant t was not.
I typically get the beef stew with egg noodles and when it came to the table I was blown away by the flavor that was brought forth unto me. Delicioso!!!
Not only was the broth on point but the beef was ample and tender.
I had brought along some guests from Ireland who had came to vancouver for the first time to work abroad and had them indulge in the norm of what I called a vancouver gastronomic marvel. They were also thoroughly impressed as they slurped profusely

We are new to Lower mainland. Originally from Toronto. We have been looking for a good pho restaurant. Everywhere we visited had something we weren't happy with. Except for this place. Everything was just right. We ordered pho and short ribs with rice. The most important thing, the broth, was simply perfect. It was simple, clean with no aftertaste or greasiness. Price was also very reasonable. We found our go-to place for good pho.

Broth was clean, not to salty and in line with how a consommé should be. This was very a spontaneous food stop in Surrey a few days ago and I trued out their satay pho based on yelp reviews and it was not disappointing!
On top of that, the service was great and the staffs were very helpful! This is one of the best Vietnamese restaurants I've been to in Vancouver with such good service, decent decors and good food. I wish I took pictures but we were in such a rush, so I didn't get the chance to :(
Would I come back? Yes! Most definitely. I wish there's a closer location closer to where I live because Surrey is far!

Ordered to go on our way home one day and I was both excited and disappointed about our experience. I've heard nothing but great reviews of this place. My wife ordered the marinated pork and spring roll vermicelli (sub rice) and I got the house special Pho. We also got the beef satay. They satay was amazing. Spicy, sweet, just plain delicious. The pho was tasty but there wasn't much meat. The marinated pork was basically spam on a plate. I'm basically an adopted Filipino so I love spam... but don't call it marinated pork and pass it off as a Vietnamese dish.

Came to Surrey to do some shopping and stopped by Pink Lotus for some hot soup!! The flavour is very clean and pure especially my seafood and veggies Pho, my partner had the richer Beef Stew with Pho, the beef broth was very hearty and rich!
We shared a Banh Mi and I didn't regret ordering it!
Overall the experience was good but I did order Egg Noodles for my seafood soup but it came out just the regular Pho, my partner actually ordered another item on the menu but it came out completely different, not being too fussy we just took what we get, I may still want to go back and try the egg noodles

Both the regular pho and satay broth were great. I sometimes feel very thirsty after eating pho (signal that there's lots of MSG). I did not get that feeling here, so the flavor in the broth must be the real deal! We also ordered tea, and it was a pandan tea according to the waiter. I have never tasted anything like it - kind of like a sweet taro flavor - I was impressed!
Not yet a busy place although I feel it may become that way in the future, because the food was delicious for a great price.

So the spring rolls are lightly fried in some kind of curry batter. Not spicy but crunchy. In US they are served in rice paper that is sticky and gooey so this was different. The bean sprouts are warmed up so they don't cook the broth in the soup. Also different! The chicken satay has just the right amount of spice.
Place lacks any real atmosphere, otherwise a 5.5!

Been a loyal customer for months now and they haven't let me down since. They have great customer service- if there's a problem with the food (which rarely happens) they are more than happy to fix it. The food is the right price for the appropriate portions.
I love their lemongrass chicken and their curry chicken.
