Usually so good..... one of my favorite restaurants is going down hill lately. Watery green curry with next to no flavour it was litterally white. Very sad. Why would you let a new chef ruin your reputation. 😪. Add more curry paste... add less water or coconut milk add some coconut cream instead and it will be on the right track....

Good ambience and authentic food. Dishes have good flavour, but there are a few more burnt pieces than I would like. Also a bit small with more vegetables and less meat and noodles than I expected.
Skewers are a very good deal and have excellent flavour. Tender meat with delicious peanut sauce.
Overall, a good choice and worth checking out if you like Thai food.

Great service, tasty food and good portions. Really happy with our visit! We ordered the pad see ew and green curry and both were bursting with flavor. Ingredients were very fresh and the vegetables had a slight crisp to them that you still want after cooking it. Will definitely visit again. Also, the male waiter was wonderful, checked up on us multiple times and was very friendly!

I'll stick for now with the $12 special for lunch during the week. I'm glad they have this and I may buy something else from time to time.
As I already said, they make great curry. Also, at this price, it sounds like a bargain compared to other restaurants around.
Sabai Thai is for sure one good restaurant within this Guildford area, I really recommend it to everyone.

Hidden gem it is!
We wanted to have Thai but by the time we left we decided not to go far as we were super hungry! Found this place on yelp but almost missed it!!
Tom kha soup is fantastic and so is yellow curry. We really enjoyed the chicken with cashews and pineapple fried rice.
Service was quick and friendly. Quality and quantity both surpass your expectations. Worth dining in!

We stopped by for late dinner and just made it before their kitchen closed. Unfortunately, some customers were turned away five minutes after we had placed our order. It was just about 45 minutes before closing. We ordered a number of items: Thai satay skewers, pineapple fried rice and gang sapparod.
Food arrived fairly quickly. I noticed they did not have coconut rice as an option. I like the aromatic coconut rice with my curry dishes but the pineapple fried rice was a good substitute. The satay skewers arrived first. The chicken and pork were nicely grilled. The peanut sauce was flavourful and

Ive ordered here a couple of times for a to-go pad thai, and I havent had an unpleasant experience so far. They always had my order right and the quality of food is still good despite having the dish for a to-go. My order is always ready on time (usually 20 mins prep time). I look forward to ordering more here the next time I have pad thai cravings!

Meh. Got red curry and spring rolls. Asked for extra spicy but received Mild. Received a decent amount of curry, which was good. The curry tasted alright but super disappointed in the spring rolls. Every bite had a dry glass noodle in it that tasted like a toothpick.

Came here on the way to Whistler on a Friday night based on the good Yelp review, although I was slightly disappointed with the menu and our waitress wasn't very friendly, but the food was fantastic!
About our waitress, she was kind of smiling till you asked questions and you could almost see her roll her eyes.....but still kept smiling. But half way through the dinner, we had to ask for chopsticks, then we asked another waitress because ours was not there, this other waitress was actually nice and friendly, so I guess we were just unlucky.
The place was half full when we went and got busier

One of the expensive restaurants with nothing speacial to offer. I mean the interior is not very outstanding, food is regular thai food n so i didnt understand high price dishes.
Maybe the traditional costumes for servers make the price go up.lol . Jokes apart, i didnt like the place compared to the prices.
Over all it has decent seating space. Little visible bar with no bar counter. Servers are dressed in traditional costume and keep a smile on their faces. One of the server was litle upset with us coz we didn't mention no egg for our vegetarian fried rice. Really?? I mean... well I apologized

Amazing. I was a little flabbergasted at how pricey it was, but it was well worth it. The pad thai was so full of flavour, I have been craving it for days since I have had it. The spring rolls werent the greatest, but the cashew chicken was as good as the pad thai. Im coming back for that pad thai.
It was the royal pad thai.

I came here for lunch for 6 people. I liked the service (smiles, attentive, and prompt), food quality is good, but the number of meat portion is smaller. The price is just right for me, but others may find it pricey due to smaller meat ratio.
My favorite dishes are the 4 piece Thai satay skewers appetizer(option to double order for almost half the price). The Royal Pad Thai was my favorite one, it has the semi chewy texture I likr, good flavors, heat and loads of nut; it could use more meat portion to make it perfect. Also the Thai ice tea is recommended too.

I'm sure there are plenty of good restaurants in Surrey... I just don't have the need or desire to spend much time in the area. Well, we found ourselves in a 2 hour lineup for a book signing near Guildford one Saturday and decided to get some food in the area afterwards. That's how we ended up at Sabai Thai.
As the name suggests, Sabai Thai is a Thai restaurant and it's located at the corner of 104 Ave and 150 Street, right next to Guildford Town Centre. This restaurant is fairly small and the tables are cramped. As it was a Saturday night, the restaurant was pretty full except

Came here for dinner the place was pretty busy as for the atmosphere it was pleasant its a small restaurant which creates an intimate feeling the service was good but not great
To start we ordered the spring rolls which were good but pretty typical Thai spring rolls for our main we shared a chicken cashew with coconut rice the chicken cashew was excellent one of the best I have ever had in Vancouver it came with diced celery and a very flavor full sauce however the coconut rice had a lot less coconut than other Thai restaurants which I did not like
Overall we enjoyed our meal and I would return

Made a reservation for 4:30pm on a Thursday. It's not busy during this time to need a reservation.
The restaurant is located near the corner of the building of this plaza facing 150th street. The parking lot in the rear is quite busy as it's shared with all the retailers of the plaza. There is street parking along 149a street.
The servers greet patrons as they enter the restaurant and seated almost immediately. The servers are friendly mannered and have a Thai background.
I haven't been here for awhile. There seems to have been a renovation done at some point. The restaurant appears cleaner

Ok so after some contemplation I gave this place 4 stars...
The food is pretty great. I did not like the lettuce wraps but I believe that...that is a matter of taste buds and personal preferences about flavour. I did love the veggie pad thai and the fried banana with coconut icecream (that I ordered for dessert). The proportions are good enough for two. Me and a girlfriend shared everything and we're absolutely stuffed. So the food is absolutely worth it.
The service is pretty good too. The waitresses are very kind and "on it" about refills, ordering more etc.
