The essence of what I do is protect people - usually at the most vulnerable moments in their lives. Many of my clients come to my office after having their lives dislocated in a separation or after the loss of a loved one. Many of the people are dealing with the legal system for the first time and find themselves lost and feeling overpowered. It is important at times like these to have a lawyer who recognizes and understands his role. My role is to guide and protect my client.

Dave agreed to be my legal aid lawyer. After my first court date he told me I needed to give him gift cards for the beer store or LCBO for him to continue working for me because he was not getting paid enough from legal aid. After i did not pay him the extra he wanted the next time we were in court before the judge the only words he said on my behalf were "I'm sorry your honor this is just a low budget case for me". Do not come here for legal aid help
