Small claims law is for civil cases where the amount that you are claiming from the other person is $25,000 or less. A landlord, and want to collect rent from a non-paying tenant, or payment for damaged property. As a small claims lawyer, I'll help you present your story to the court. Having an up-to-date will prepared by a lawyer means that, in the event of your death, your family won't have to guess at what your wishes would have been. Major life events such as marriages, births, and divorces can affect your will, so keeping it current is important. You can use a power of attorney to give another person specific rights to act on your behalf.
Contacting a lawyer about your family law or small claims case can feel overwhelming. Here are some of the questions many people have about scheduling a consultation with a lawyer. A: First, I'd like to meet you in person, and I'm sure you'd like to meet me. We'll meet in a one-hour consultation. At this consultation, you can explain your situation to me, and tell me how you'd like me to help.
Divorce clients are very diverse. The relationships they've had with their partners, how long they've been together, why they're splitting up. If all of the issues between you and your spouse have been settled, and you have already been separated for over a year, you may just want a simple divorce so you can move on with your life.

When he served my ex, my 2 year old daughter answered the door and that did not alarm him at all. He will give you a nice list of everything he is capable of as a lawyer, as soon as you pay him a retainer he gives you a nice long list of what he cannot do, without "probably" costing you more money. I was run down with a car the same day my daughter was kidnapped from me. $2500 got me 1 day in court, my daughter back on a shared custody basis, plus almost a 400 dollar a month child support payment. I would reccomend you burn your money before spending it on this lawyer as you will at least be warm
