I bought a car from here one time. It came safetied, yet another mechanic confirmed it had a broken spring which would never pass a safety. Why was another mechanic looking at the car? Because the driver-side front brake caliper housing came unhinged on the 401 and I had to perform an emergency stop. The mechanic confirmed that this place had used an imperial size bolt on a metric threading, and the vibration of braking caused the bolt to come out. Apparently the passenger side was handled the same way and was on the way to failure if my actual mechanic didn't change the bolts to the right size

An amazing, small, locally owned car Shoppe. I went to a bigger shop and they tried to charge me all kinds of replacements on a new car. I took it here and they fit me in their schedule at a very busy time of year and even changed my seasonal tires at no extra cost! Would definitely, definitely recommend. Very nice people.

Old School Values
It has been a while since I've used a garage to do repairs and maintenance on the vehicle. For the longest time I had company vehicles and maintenance was done by the dealer, but recently I purchased a 10 year old Ford Ranger and took it, initially for safety only, but after to go over the truck to The Car Clinic. I'm pleased to report that this shop is one of those old school places that actually values individual customer, I was treated with respect, I was kept informed as to what my truck needed and what was not needed. I have been here twice so far and each time I have received great service! Mechanic was friendly and transparent. He took the time to explain what the problem was while actually showing us on the car, and gave us an honest opinion on what work needed to be done and what could wait. Definitely would recommend!

A wonderful, friendly, family-run garage. Solved a brake issue for $100 which the dealer wanted to do for $500. Car Clinic is my go-to for oil changes and seasonal tire swaps. And will be my garage when my six-year old Matrix needs more TLC.

If I could give minus stars, I would. My experience at this shop was horrible. Mike was the one taking care of my order, and in my understanding, he is the owner of the shop. He did not take any pictures of the car before and after reparations nor did he provide any other details of his repairs and charges other than 'shop materials' and 'fix exhaust leak'. Details of the repairs are required as per Ontario law.

Brought my car for repairs. I do not know what my car problem was. The person was nice and friendly. Plus he was patient with me. He made suggestions. I agreed to the checking the tire rod. He showed me the difference between a damage rotation and a proper rotation. Only when I agreed then he did the repair and I was able to pick up my car. Very satisfied.

I was new in town, so when my Jeep needed attention, I decided to take it to the Car Clinic based on the reviews I read here. I am so happy I did. Vlad diagnosed the problem and then patiently showed me exactly what was wrong so that I knew what work was needed. I have come here a few times since then for small and not-so-small repairs. I agree with the other reviews! I went to this place, on the recommendation of my dad, to get my winter tires put on. I dropped off my car at 9 and he said I could come pick it up in an hour! He found things that other point inspections have missed, but I definitely didn't feel like he made them up. No more trips to Canadian Tire with my car - even though I live out of town I will continue to bring my car here for seasonal check-ups.
