Hi home and Apartment buyer’s, please please please again please do not buy or register from Remington group development, because you wasting your time and money. Remington making poor quality and poor value home, and people are working for them are not professional and they have no idea what they doing, for example walls not even, washroom and bathroom tiles are uneven and huge gaps between the tiles. Two time they repair my washroom tiles but look worse than before, they told us that the best we can do. I never been in this construction and I'm sure I can do better job than Remington. I wish

Avoid this builder like the plague. Made some calls to head office to explain the terrible reviews and they said someone would call me back but no one ever did. Big surprise. Save your money and go with a reputable builder. I'm sure when the Grand father started this company it was handled with much better care, professionalism and respect. This is what happens when old money is handed down to 3rd generation and they did not earn it. A shame but you know the money will change hands soon enough as business like this cannot survive in today's competitive landscape.

I bought a town house with Remington in Oakville and their handyman’s ladder scratched my furniture during his fix work. I sent them an email complaining and they just sent someone and took some pictures and replied saying “ our contractors are professional and there is no way he made that, maybe your furniture has already broken. We will not reply on this issue any more. Hope you are satisfied” wow I am so satisfied, your worker is professional and I am a lier 😀 The customer service manager is rude, she always have an impatient and tough attitude, make me feels like I am a criminal. We had two significant roof leaks with water damage throughout the brand new townhouse in Feb 2019 (along with many other units in our community).
It's virtually impossible to get in touch with anyone from customer service (even though it's a brand new property under warranty). For every 20 phone calls, I get someone that finally picks up (and the same goes for emails). We've had some repairs done but we frequently have contractors that don't show up. Now, they ignore all of my emails and phone calls, so we still have rooms with missing carpet, baseboard and unfinished walls. It's quite frustrating

Not recommended for the following reasons 1. Can't find staff to follow up with the progress of construction, 2. Rude staff on the phone, 3. Keep on extending the closing date for no practical reason. This only reflect their ongoing failure ( I already had 3 extension dates for the closing), 4. description of construction both interior and exterior and not matching the paperwork and the selected designs items, 5. They do not respond to emails and phone calls for inquiries and clarification, 6. Offering very high prices for houses in areas that will eventually be underestimated by the property market

Terrible customer service. No credibility at all.
We had the water damage to our house in Feb 2019. Tried to contact the builder to come to fix it. They were ignoring my phone calls or emails until April.
Finally, they agreed to come fix our roof and scheduled an appointment in April. We waited home for the whole day and they did not show up. They rescheduled another appointment in early May. They did not show up again... I am speechless and don't know what to do other than complaining and keep calling them everyday.... Very very frustrated

We've been really happy with Remington so far...we have purchased a detached in the Oakville, Preserve area and every so often visit the site to see the progress and it's coming along really well, I don't think we'll be seeing one day of delay. The sales office was closed before sales of our phase came into action but once it did go on sale, the sales office has been open ever since which is really convenient, staff are nice too. We have a close friend who have now settled down in their purchase also from Remington, Preserve and they are really happy too, very chic and modern. I see some features

I got a new townhouse from Remington on July 5, 2018. Prior to the closing, we identified 50+ issues in the unit during the PDI and the rep from Remington said that they will resolve these issues in timely manner. It has been over a month and most of the issues has not been started to fix or no update is provided on when they are planning to fix. For the items they attempted to fix, the results are either half baked repair by their subcontractors or they just made more damage to the area. For example, they took down half of my drywall in my family room and they just left it open for over two weeks

The WORST builder in town!
Now we have experience buying homes, so my review is a comparison between two builders and the difference is SHOCKING!
Remington first of all has the WORST customer service and the builders take NO accountability for their projects.
They pushed our house closing back by 1 FULL year! On top of that, the job itself is probably the most SLOPPY building jobs I have seen to date. Our PDI had 4 pages of revisions that the builder MISSED! we paid $4 grand for waffle ceilings which they "oops we forgot!" They pushed and bullied us into closing, but with a HALF finished home

Worst experience we ever had purchasing a home.
How are these people in business????
All the aplliances came late and were not installed, me and my family drove up to Midland 8 times to sort this out. When asked when will they install they didn't care and didn't have any update.
The customer service department does exist save your money and headache.
If you want to know kore read the other reviewsr!!!!
