It is a highly successful hands-on treatment method to address problems in the soft tissues of the body, including the muscles, ligaments, fascia, and nerves. The team of chiropractors at Rouge River in Pickering provide chiropractor services, which is the use of hands-on techniques to improve the global and regional mobility of the human body.
Services
When they visit our massage therapy centre in Pickering, clients can expect to experience hands-on manipulation of the soft tissues of the body, which brings about a therapeutic response. With massage therapy, clients have access to an alternative health option in order to help prevent soft tissue discomfort associated with stress and tension, as well as relieve pain from injuries or chronic conditions.
Orthotics are devices worn in your shoes that provide correction to your feet, helping them to function more efficiently. Poor foot function and alignment may be the cause of various pains such as foot pain, hip pain, knee pain and back pain. Prescription orthotics may help relieve your pain by realigning and stabilizing the bones in your feet, restoring your natural walking pattern.
Acupuncture services are provided by the Chiropractors, who predominantly use it to treat musculo-skeletal conditions such as muscle strains, ligament sprains, neuro-muscular spasms, and other such conditions. Acupuncture is the insertion of thin sterilized needles that causes a release of our own bodies' natural pain killer, "endorphins", thereby having a pain relieving effect.
ART(R) treatment is highly successful in dealing with soft tissue injuries because it is specifically designed to locate and treat scar tissue adhesions that accumulate in the muscles and surrounding soft tissues. You can think of an ART(R) treatment as a type of active massage.

The practitioner will first shorten the muscle, tendon, or ligament, and then apply a very specific pressure with their hands as you actively stretch and lengthen the tissues. As the tissue lengthens the practitioner is able to assess the texture and tension of the muscle to determine if the tissue is healthy or contains scar tissue that needs further treatment.
Chiropractic care at Rouge River Chiropractic in Pickering, is the use of hands-on techniques to improve the global and regional mobility of the human body. Various techniques are incorporated to accomplish this which include spinal and extremity manipulation, soft tissue manipulation (see ART), various electro-modalities (Ultrasound, Laser, IFC, Shockwave), and acupuncture.

I had been suffering with a shoulder injury for almost a year and treatments with other chiropractors and physio didn't help. After visiting Dr Lee for just a few weeks, I was already feeling an improvement. It's now been about 4 months and my shoulder is almost back to normal. I'm so happy that Dr Lee was recommended to me because I feel like I'd still be dealing with the pain if I hadn't switched over to his services.

Rouge River Chiropractic is amazing! So happy to work so close to such a great office with friendly receptionists and highly skilled professionals. Was referred by of my both coworkers to see either Cherie or Laura. I ended up booking with Cherie and have had the best experience. Also ended up seeing Dr. Johnston as well after an injury and am very happy with everything. Great team overall and would highly recommend!

My experience at Rouge River Chiropractic was second to none. The doctors are extremely thorough, knowledgeable, and pleasant people in general. I went in with a mild issue in my lower back and Dr. Lee was able to properly assess the issue and treat it accordingly. I would highly recommend the service provided at Rouge River Chiropractic.

This clinic and Dr. Ray are amazing. The staff is very friendly and polite.
I had pes anserine bursitis problem that is very common to sport injuries. He took the time to explain the problem, what causes it and how to prevent it from future occurring. If you need someone that is highly skilled and knowledgeable in Active Release Techniques and sport injuries, I highly recommend Dr. Raymond Lee.

I saw Ray 6 years ago for chronic back pain that I had been experiencing for 2-3 years. I had seen many other health professionals for the pain, but it never got better. Ray was the first to assess me properly and told me that my pain was stemming from my hips. He did one treatment, and I have been pain free ever since.
This year I was experiencing shoulder pain, which was preventing me from competing in high-performance sport. I went back to Ray. His assessment an treatment got me healed in time for my National Championships.
At Rouge River Chiro, I’ve never felt like my treatment was being

I have been coming to this office for probably 2 years but recently injured my knee and when I called I found out Dr. Sam Yap is retiring so I agreed to meet Dr. Geoffrey Johnson. He did a very in-depth assessment and helped get me back walking with therapy, exercises and acupuncture 👍 just recently he began to help with a tendon injury in my hand. Everyone in this office is very friendly and I would recommend them all 100%
