Services
The best way to prevent dental issues and tooth decay is by maintaining good oral hygiene and receiving regular dental care. Highland Hills Dental is proud to serve the dentistry needs of families throughout the Kitchener region. Our cleanings will help you avoid plaque and tartar build-up on your teeth, which could lead to gum disease, tooth loss and other complications!
The team at Highland Hills Dental are constantly continuing their knowledge of dental techniques and treatments so we can bring our clients the most modern dental practices. We also offer digital x-rays that are faster to process and expose you to less radiation than traditional x-rays. To learn more about the modern technology and techniques we incorporate into our appointments, please contact us.
In order to start them on the path to proper oral health, it's crucial to start your children on a stable hygiene routine early. At Highland Hills Dental, we suggest starting regular dentist appointments at two years old with two visits a year. Because we're both cleaning your child's teeth and looking for early dental issues, these biannual visits will help you avoid costly repair treatments down the line.
While it's one of the procedures many patients fear, tooth extraction is a fast, safe procedure. Extraction is necessary if your tooth is badly damaged by an injury, from decay or from advanced gum disease. It can also be needed if it's impacted under the surface or if it's crowding your other teeth.
An alternative to extraction, root canals are used when the tooth is badly decayed but still healthy enough to save. The Highland Hills dental staff will remove all of the bacteria and infection that has made its way to the inside of your tooth. We'll clean the inside of your tooth thoroughly and then fill it with a hard material before putting on a crown.

I have always been a nervous dental patient. It was no exception here. But Dr. k takes such good care of me every time. They’re all very kind, have all respected my apprehensiveness and always try to accommodate me with the same team. I’ve now been going here for 7 years and never had a bad experience.

Be careful, this may cost you more than you think. A doctor from this office gave me an estimate of of over $3,500. According to him, I needed about 12 fillings and he quoted me at over $300 each. When I asked him to give me a discount as I have no health benefits, he asked me to go get some benefits. I went to another office to get a second opinion, after a complex investigation of my mouth, using xray and color pictures, the doctors could not find more than 2 fillings to make. Shame on such doctors who see in their patients only dollar bills !!!!

I have a real fear of the dentist and this team was amazing. I hadn't been to a dentist since COVID hit and I desperately needed X-rays and a deep cleaning with a few cavities as well. They were able to do half the cleaning thoday and offered to freeze half my mouth so the pain wouldn't be so bad!!! I have never had a dentist office offer to freeze my mouth for a cleaning. Sarah was an amazing hygienist and Dr, K was very caring and took her time with me while doing the freezing. So glad i took the time to read the previous reviews and go to this clinic! I am already scheduled in to go for the

I had not been to the dentist in quite some time and my dental hygienist, Kim was fantastic. She was very kind and understood my situation. She took her time and made sure I was comfortable. The dentist I saw was very good and explained everything to me. The front desk receptionist, from the time I walked in to the time I left, was very friendly and took the time to set up appointments, go through my insurance even though it was past closing time. I would highly recommend them!

I registered as a new client and had needed to be immediately seen. The staff and dentists were very friendly, ensured I was well taken care of as well that I well understood my situation. They provided me with both relief of my issue and candid support for being in my situation. I would recommend Highland Hills to anyone who is looking for a new dentist in the Kitchener area!

Went there for 3 years and each year they sent me a bill in the mail saying I didn't pay. But I have the receipt that shows I did and owe no balance. The last year though they tacked on an extra filling that I did not have done on a date 2 weeks after I was at the office. When I called them they said maybe I didn't notice it because it was close to the other ones. My insurance shows it was on a tooth no where near the ones that were filled. They refused to let me talk to the manager. It seems like they're trying to get more money out of the insurance companies. My family has since

Whatever was put in fell out before my wife even got home and it appears the pulpectomy may have been done in the wrong tooth. We called the office immediately following the appointment and even came back and no one would help her. She was then forced to go to the emergency Dentist and then my Dentist Dr. Adatia and now a specialist. Bottom line is this office screwed up in a big way causing undue pain on my Wife and costs that should not have occurred.
