Celtic Creatures is dedicated to promoting responsible pet ownership and developed Sydney's first off-leash dog park in 2008. The park is located right next to our clinic, it provides a fully fenced area where local dogs and their owners can run, play and socialize. Annual registration, waivers and dog memberships are required.
During the winter of 2018/2019, the 11 full time staff members of Celtic Creatures Vet Clinic received Fear Free Certification training! This involved training on modifying our procedures, handling, and facilities to help pets feel safe and comfortable while receiving the medical care they need.
Developed by "America's Veterinarian, " Dr. Marty Becker, the Fear FreeSM initiative aims to "take the 'pet' out of 'petrified'" and get pets back for veterinary visits by promoting considerate approach and gentle control techniques used in calming environments.

Just as we require regular dental care, so do our pets in order to maintain overall health. Dental disease causes pain in the oral cavity and may also cause other systemic problems if left unchecked. The most common condition seen in general veterinary practice in dogs and cats is periodontal disease.

This would be 0 stars if not for my last rep I spoke with!! New to living in CB, Called a couple weeks ago as I was looking for a new vet in my area to switch to. Older woman who didn't give a name was EXTREMELY rude and ignorant on the phone. Wouldn't give me the time of day to speak and told me to pretty much not bother calling back as it would give the same results. ( I thought maybe the clinic was really busy with an emergency and that's why she wouldn't talk to me.)
I called back last week against my better judgement, because of a friend's strong recommendation, and the rep Andrea that I

Thank you for all of your hard work and endless dedication to pet health. What people sometimes donโt understand is that you are human beings and seeing extremely sick pets and dealing with emotionally charged people all day long is exhausting and mentally draining. Making the decision to only allow vaccinated people in your clinic is absolutely the right idea. Every single vet clinic is struggling with being understaffed and over worked right now and you cannot risk shutting down or losing even one staff member to this deadly virus.

They force their clients to be vaccinated with covid vaccine. They discriminate against people that cannot have this vaccine and they will tell you, you are no longer a client if you ask any questions. They have removed the ability to post comments on their facebook page. They also think that when you're dog is very ill and needs to be euthanized that a booking a week out is normal. I would never use this vet clinic again, they are going to have a huge lawsuit on their hands.

I have taken my cat to Celtic for over 2 years as he was starting to not feel well. After blood work and a urine test detected diabetes so i need to give him a shot of insulin 2 times a day. So i called to get more insulin and they keep putting me on hold then said he needs a check up . I told them that he just had one when he got hair cut over in north sydney. Well she got mad at me saying why are you taking him there and say that from now on i can get North Sydney animal Hospital to get his insulin! So Not Professional and just the last year i spent over $ 800.00 there.
