Had a family heirloom painting repaired, cleaned, and reframed. It was very delicate due to its age, and I can say I certainly made the right choice when I entrusted it to Julie. It looks absolutely incredible! Just sent in another old oil painting to be cleaned as was so impressed with the work done on the initial one. Highly recommend.

I took an interesting piece in for a wrap and frame. Julie was very knowledgeable and helpful in determining the correct frame for the painting. It was especially fun to pick the finished product up and see that she was more excited than I was with the end result:) This was a fine example of you get what you pay for. Thank you Julie and I wish you continued success in the future!

Wonderful experience with framing my late mothers 30 year old pieces. The store is lovely, the service was exceptional, and the finished product was so much more that I could have hoped for. I'm so happy and I will definitely be using them again! Thank you!

I've used the framing services of Julie to frame both prints and fabrics and her work is excellent. Lots of interesting art pieces in her shop. Very personable and professional service. She started making masks during Covid and they are great quality and fit me better than other varieties I've tried. Highly recommend you visiting the Workshop Gallery if you need framing or masks.

Last year Julie (& great team) restored and reframed a water-damaged painting for me, changed up other paintings with art-glass (omg, so fabulous, will never use anything but art glass again!), and gave us knowledgeable advise on several pieces including how to hang a stained glass door over the window. Wonderful customer service with exceptional work. Highly recommend without reservation.

Julie is a creative and tenacious person. Won't stop till she's found the perfect solution to framing and other art needs. Great artist herself.
Knows her onions. We're second generation customers as my late father in law (very picky guy ), was a long time customer.

Highly recommended.

We were at a nearby professional gallery and ran into a framing/hanging problem that needed a quick, creative solution, so we Googled to find a nearby frame store to help us with it, and found The Workshop Gallery.
What a lucky find! Julie was incredibly helpful, and took the time to think hard about how to solve the problem, trying different things until she found a truly creative one that would be safe and look professional. She was friendly and engaging while she worked, and based on our experience today, we would trust her expertise with any framing job.
Thanks Julie, for saving our bacon

I never write reviews but seeing as this is a shop I adore I was so disappointed to go check the hours and see they had 1 negative review; I felt compelled to share my experience. Had a piece I ordered in from a gallery, wanting only the best framing job possible I spoke to several shops before settling on Workshop Gallery and I could not be happier. From the moment I walked in I was treated with the utmost respect and professionalism. As someone who has had framing work done at several shops across this city, the quality of work here is by far the best and truly done by experts. They know how to

I'm reviewing this as the Workshop Gallery since they moved to 705 Pape Ave.:

Can't say much about their creativity or actual work, as this review is purely about their customer service.

I went in last year about Christmas time to ask about how they would frame a piece of artwork in a shadow box. The woman sitting at the counter with her co-worker was very unresponsive. She kept saying that they do all types of framing, and just bring it in. I described the piece as a 1-inch painted canvas block, and asked if they had any samples I could see, or if there was a price range for shadow
