James grew up in Deep Cove and is a long time resident of North Vancouver. He graduated from UBC in 1998 with a B. Sc. in Microbiology/Immunology. He then graduated from the University of Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry. As a general dentist he has continued his dental education in the fields of Oral Sedation, Orthodontics and Implant Dentistry.

What an amazing experience all around at Pacificview Dental Centre! The team is awesome and the office is really well appointed! Dr Tjorhom is a gentle, kind and patient practitioner that really listens. The hygienists and front desk admin are excellent as well. My whole family sees the team here and it says a lot when all the kids and adults are Happy! Covid Protocol is also solid. Do not hesitate to come see Dr Tjorhom and his crew…you will be so happy you did! Your smile will thank you!!

Dr. Tjorhom has been my dentist for the past 10 years. I was reluctant to find a new dentist for a long time because I really wanted to make sure that whoever worked on my teeth was going to meet my expectations. I have to say I was pleasantly surprised with Dr. Tjorhom's professionalism and caring attitude. His staff is great too! Always a smile on their faces and I always feel like I got the right treatment at a fair price since I do not have dental insurance. I can whole heartedly recommend his clinic and I am looking forward spending a long time at the office!
