AMAZING OG PIZZA!
If you're looking for (not) the regular, fast food chain, doesn't really care, shotty ingredients type place, this isn't for you lol!
IL Paesano has AMAZINGLY great Pizza. You can taste every layer of ingredients, like a mosaic of flavors coming together, harmonized by true great homely service!
I wanted to get a Gino's Pizza (no disrespect) but my roommates opted for here! So glad they did, because I was sold on that big Ital taste and the super big commitment to quality.
I HAVE A NEW LOCAL FAVORITE, and you should too! Try IL Paesano, do yourself the justice 😃

I had one of their signature dishes the other night, the marinated shrimp. I've been ordering this dish for years, but over the last couple of years it's gone downhill really bad. The shrimp I had the other night tasted frostbitten what are you doing and it was sitting in a bunch of oil oh, I know they usually do some sort of oily lemon liquid but the shrimp were floating in it. I will never buy this again unfortunately. This is one of our small businesses in the neighbourhood and I would really like to keep supporting them but they need to get their act together. This place has the best panzerottis. I don’t live close, but if it craving a panzerotti, I will always visit this place. Their baked panzos are VERY good and it always comes with a half cup of tomato sauce, which is totally delicious.
If I lived close by, I would also order their pizza often. They have $3.00 take out slices which is a good price!
I never had anything else here, just the pizza and panzerotti. I also never dined it here.

I must say, I have been frequenting this place since I was a kid as I grew up in and around the area. The good news is that some things don’t change—it’s been true to its original sketch, play book, and image. The bad news is also that some things don’t change—would benefit from some changes to both decor and menu items. History don’t lie though and provides some ol’ fashion Italian feel good.

This place was recommended by a friend who frequents this place, and her grandparents have been coming here since ages, so basically this place is ancient and is known among the Italian circles. I dragged another couple with us and expected food to live up to the hype I’d created. We tried the basics, the classic Margherita, Spaghetti pasta, a couple of Peronis (I’m a beer guy but not a fan of Peroni) and ended it with the dessert, the all consuming Tartuffo. The pizza and the pasta were strictly ok, maybe people love it with meat and that’s why all the hype. Hard luck as we were a vegetarian

I had Il Paesano Pizza a few weeks ago and again last weekend. They make a great think crust pizza. It is well done, not burned, and evenly cooked. Perfect amount of sauce, cheese and ingredients. Tasty sauce, and cheese base. No ingredients overpowered the others, it blended well together. I would recommend it.
