It was a great experience returning to Fernandino to get the hair I have been wanting for over a year, I loved how welcoming and kind everyone was. Alex was an amazing hair stylist giving me exactly what I was looking for and very accommodating to my needs. I very much recommend Alex if you want your dream hair come into reality!

Victoria is stellar. She did absolutely amazing on my hair, I’ve never loved my hair more. I went from having almost orange hair to a beautiful brunette style with money pieces. The salon is very clean and organized, and I love the atmosphere of it. I would definitely recommend booking with Victoria. She is great to talk to, and makes you feel comfortable and so happy about yourself after ! Will definitely be going back to her forever now

I've been seeing Alex for both hair extensions and colour for over 2 years now. When I first came to her my hair was short, tons of damage from excessive bleach, and horribly installed extensions by someone else.
Alex recommended products to help my damaged hair, & two years later my hair is so long, thick and healthy. I’m so happy I found Alex 2 years ago she completely transformed my hair. When my hair was shorter we did extensions several times and there was no damage, or breakage my hair was perfect! I loved the extensions she did and that they didn’t itch, or hurt my hair at all!

Alex is the only person ill ever trust to do my hair! I have gotten three fusion extensions instalments with her. They are so well installed and look so natural! No one can ever tell i have extensions in and they are so easy to work with! She is great at what she does! And the hair quality is amazing! I would definitely recommend Alex for any of your hair needs, especially extensions!

So i went for a balayage and i showed a picture and want a greyish colour but they said they will do the closest one like same but a lit darker but the colour they did to my hair is brown totally opposite not same at all. Even they said charge for balayage is $165 but at the end they put some additional charges that they didn’t mention before.

Do not go here !! I look horrific ! I had made an appointment a couple days ago. Even tho my appointment was at 10 am (exactly when they open) i still had to wait 30 minutes. I had long hair almost to my butt, so I wanted to trim off the dead ends and get a wave perm to add some body. She wanted to add some layers as well and i agreed. Big mistake!! The layers are all over the place and sooo choppy I look like a toddlers played hair dresser with me. She washed my hair right after so i didnt get a good look at the layers at first. When she washed my hair she was very aggressive

I absolutely LOVED my hair after doing a Balayage with Alex Vespucci! Just look at the before/after picture and no more words are needed to describe how amazing her work is!
She was very careful and able to make my hair way better than what I though it would be possible! I will never do my hair with anyone else!
In addition, before and after the procedure she gave me great recommendation of products to use, which made all the difference to keep my hair healthy all the way!

I just had an appointment today with Alex for a beige blonde balayage and I am absolutely in LOVE with it! Alex was very professional and accommodating during the entire session. She kept making sure that the colour was what I wanted and she would always make sure I was comfortable during the bleaching process of my hair. Alex is one of the best hairdressers I have ever been to when it comes to hair colouring. I will definitely be coming back again and will be recommending Fernandino to my friends and family!!

First time here was for a consultation a few months ago with Amélie and Dino. I absolutely fell in love. They make you feel welcome and comfortable, so I booked my appointment for extensions with Amélie shortly after and can I just say the girl is a miracle worker. She did my colour and it matched the extensions perfectly. Went back a few months later to get the colour redone and extensions clipped back in, and once again I was stunned! I have an appointment today and it can't come soon enough!!! I know I'll always leave super satisfied and happy :) If ever I'm asked to for a referral

We just arrived here in Fernandino''s CF Rideau Center Branch and to out Surprise The African Lady was the most RUDE and less ACCOMODATING Receptionist ever. Upon arrival at 10 AM We are pleasantly asking for a Hair cut and This African Lady look us at and stared rudely from head to foot asking if We have an appointment We answered NO and she shour as ut saying I only have at 11 and stared as if We done her Wrong!!!!! Very Very Unprofessional and Discriminating!!!! I hope she had a good day after treating us!!!!!!!!!!

Second chance at this salon and the first time I found them rude, ignorant and I ended up walking out before anything was done by the hair stylist. Went in a few days ago to ask about a particular product and was rudely greeted by 3 individuals at the front of the store that could have been owners or staff. I asked a question and quickly left and will never look back. Would never ever recommend them!

Stopped in for a blow out with curl. Have to say that the whole thing wasn't the greatest. The staff was friendly but the quality of the hair style after the fact was lacking if I compare it to any other time I've received a blow out. I likely won't be back.

I scheduled two appointments at Fernandino, driving from Upstate NY to find a place that came recommended by friends in Ottawa and to take advantage of kind friends who were willing to babysit while I treated myself. Grossly disappointed.

The first appointment was good enough that I decided to try again with plans to make this a habit. The second, I received a phone call 45 minutes before the appointment was scheduled to start ... well after I was already en route to the appointment ... canceling the appointment. I would NOT recommend doing a keratin treatment here. The second time I did a kertain treatment at this salon, in the salon chair i noticed I had a ton of broken baby hairs standing. My hair is just super frizzy with a bunch of broken hairs now.

Yesterday evening, I rushed through my shopping to arrive at my appointment on time, for 830pm. However, I just had my hair butchered by a girl who can't have been older than 21 and still had a residual high-schooler attitude problem. I would compare my experience at Joseph's to being on a assembly line at a factory. I came in, they sat me down, a woman called me up... Didn't say anything, washed my hair, brought me to another woman who was smacking her gum and talking on her cell phone, she hung up and began to cut my hair.

I was shocked the first time I went in for a quick dry trim to my ends and they tried to charge me $65+tax, as I was in the chair for a grand total of 9 minutes. Upon protestation, they agreed to take off 20% since I didn't have my hair washed. The stylist (who will remain nameless) told me that she would provide free trims later on, so this helped make up for the ridiculous cost (which would have amounted to $400 an hour, by my calculations.. umm.. do they also provide free legal consultations?)

Although Joseph's is primarily a hair salon, it recently joined forces with Amalfi spa upstairs and now has an amazing nail salon at the back. There wasn't a lot of conversation from my esthetician, but the paint job I was left with lasted a full ten days. I've never had such luck before, so I have no choice but to call this my top manicure ever.
