Upon graduating from hair school in 1999, she attended Suki's, an elite hair school in Vancouver, where she completed an extra year of study.
She has completed the 'Key's to Colour' program by L'Oreal Professional and is recognized as a colour specialist. Amanda is a silver medal winner at a national hair show and has attended many other hair shows throughout the years, including the Bed Head hair show in Las Vegas in 2007. Amanda is very in-tune with new trends and is committed to education to continually grow in her career as a professional hair stylist.

180 Degrees Hair Studio was established in the summer of 2004 as a two person salon. Realizing our vision and our upbeat, relaxed, yet professional atmosphere, the word spread and our salon grew and now includes nine fully qualified stylists, a receptionist, and a salon coordinator. I recently had an appointment at this salon and I just can't rave enough about the stylists. What a great place to get your hair done. I recieved a thorough consultation before my cut and style. I have naturally curly hair and the time was taken to make me feel confident in what was about to be done. I left the salon with a great experience and look forward to my next appointment.

Called today to book an appointment for a hair cut, I have been getting my hair cut here for 6 years, Today when I called I was told that I would need to remember the name of the stylist that cut my hair last time in order to book a appointment, when I told the girl I couldn't remember her name she said she couldn't book an appointment for me. WHAT? The last time I booked they just booked me with whoever was available, since my last stylist had quit, but not today. I have always posted good reviews for this salon but not now. So disappointing

Finally decided to get my long hair cut, amid concerns as to how I would like it and manage it. Found a photo on the internet that looked similar to what I wanted except it was on wavy hair. I have straight hair - although I have always wished for a few waves,
Heather not only gave me a medium length bob , her cut provided me with enough curls to hold the style . She even explained to me what she was doing to encourage the waves. LOVE iT! Best of all, today I washed my hair - first time since the cut --and low and behold, it was easy to manage and attain a "just out of the salon " look. Thanks

I had my hair cut and coloured at 180 Degree Hair Studio shortly after moving from Langley to Kelowna. Normally I wouldn't have someone colour my hair on the first appointment, however, in my defense a stylist I knew in Langley recommended one stylist at this salon. The cut was alright but the colour was terrible. Not only was it brassy and under toned but the roots were crooked. For ex. One side of where the foil would be was somewhat near the roots and as you went down the foil it got farther and farther off the root. Also I had asked for a partial highlight and she did my entire head. I noticed

Got my haircut by Sarah yesterday and had a lovely experience. We chatted for a bit about what I was looking for - I have long think hair and get annoyed when it gets long as it gets heavy in the shower, and feels like a heavy mop on my head when I sweat from exercise. At the same time I love the length and wanted to add some layers around my face. After washing my hair she suggested taking an inch off and having me run my fingers through my hair to check how it feels. These check in happened throughout the haircut. I'm very happy with the results and will be back. Thank you Sarah!
