Our location offers easy access to all of what downtown Duncan has to offer. Please drop by and say Hi to Brad, Myke, Craig, Jonny, Eric, Sheena and 'Duncan'. To give real service you must add something which cannot be bought or measured with money, and that is, sincerity and integrity. Brad bought H & M in 1999 when he moved to Duncan from Winnipeg.
Services
H & M Auto Repair has licenced Technicians, the latest computerized diagnostic equipment, and a computerized automotive information system that provides detailed data for your vehicle by year, make and model. This insures that your vehicle's repair and maintenance are in complete compliance with the manufacturer's warranty.
There is no better way to keep your vehicle at peak performance and have it run for hundreds of. Unlike your vehicle's engine where all the oil can be drained out, most of the transmission fluid does not. Most people at one time or another have encountered a power steering problem with either a power steering pump.
Your air conditioning should be checked for proper operation and refrigerant charge at least once a year. Refrigerant is very hard to contain in an automotive system. The reason is your air conditioning compressor operates at different speeds due to engine RPM.

The rest of the system is comprised of many dissimilar materials that expand and contract at different rates and along with the movement of the engine, this allows a minute amount of refrigerant to escape. This is normal and is why the system should be checked for low charge.
There is an increasing awareness of the dangers of water and corrosion producing contaminates. Brake fluid contaminated by moisture dangerously lower the boiling point of the fluid to the point that, even under ordinary conditions, your brakes could get hot enough to cause the brake fluid to boil causing vapor to form in the brake system.
Your vehicle's brakes are a critical safety system and require an annual inspection and service of all working components. Over the course of a year, dirt and debris from normal driving accumulate in the brake system. Some of the symptoms will include the formation of rust on brake rotors and drums, sticking and tight pads in mounts and tight caliper pins.
