Usually I get the chicken vegetable soup here. If you’re feeling rundown or sick or even hung over, it always makes me feel much better after. It’s a clean tasting soup with fresh veggies that feels like you’re eating health itself and is very tasty and satisfying for a classic soup. Last couple times we ordered We got some of the stir fry’s & chow mein and OMG, just as fresh tasting. Super tasty without being over salted. I’m never bloated after eating here and the food is always 10/10! On of our go to places to get food.

The best spring roll in town, different than another spring roll. The food was so good. Recommend this place.

Edit. Returned to the coolest place. This family run place with great food and vibe. The food makes you crave but the vibe keeps us coming. The spring rolls were hot and perfect. The Bun (vermicelli with pork) and the fried rice with pork bbq. That’s always perfect.
This is the only place that makes rice paper spring rolls in Winnipeg. Hard to find in Winnipeg. Other options are fine but this is my go to for Vietnamese spring rolls

Viva has been my favourite restaurant for about 20 years now. It was my first taste of Vietnamese back in 2000. Since then, I have visited Vietnam twice and tried Vietnamese food in about half a dozen other countries and am amazed that Winnipeg seems to have the best Vietnamese food outside of Vietnam! I absolutely adore this family run business. Everything I've ever had here has been delicious. I especially love the rare beef soup, Phnom Penh special, salad rolls and they have the best peanut sauce!

I haven't been here in about 4 years. I moved. I have been dreaming of the salad rolls and deluxe vermicelli. This was my favorite restaurant in Winnipeg. It's not the same. It made me sad. The vermicelli wasn't too far off, but the pork shrimp salad rolls I would never order again. No mint or basil, only two little pieces of shrimp, it was sad. I wonder if it has new owners or management now🤔. I gave it three stars for old time sake.

I go here often and bring as many people as I can. The pho is excellent, and the chicken curry is the best I've ever had. The prices are great and the staff is awesome. I love this place!

We had the special pho (soupe) with rare beef, beefballs and tripe and the grilled chicken bun (rice noodle bowl) as well as the fresh salad roles as an appetizer. The place looked clean and the walls looked freshly painted or just very clean. The service was a little slow, we were there after the lunch rush. The bun was fresh and tasty the pho was missing some flavor. The taste got better at the end of the soupe, maybe the spice mixture was sitting at the bottom of the bowl. The ingredients were fresh and tasty. However compared to other Vietnamese restaurants in the city I was missing the deep

Atmosphere is very nice. The restaurant looks well appointed.
Service was ok. Not exceptionally talkative.
One of the nice things is they * off their most popular items so if you are new to coming here you have a good idea of what is generally considered good. I went for the pho (deluxe beef). Pricing at $10.50 is good. Flavors were good.
They sell banh mi sandwiches for $4.50 which is a much better deal than going to Earls.

Best Vietnamese/ Chinese food in town. Always fresh, great menu and great staff. Sometimes service can be slow when extremely busy which is often but still worth the quality food. Vermicelli bowls, spring rolls, rice rolls, lemon chicken, Korean bbq beef, beef and broccoli, spicy sizzling beef, and black bean sauce are all fantastic! Great fresh food!
