Services
Dr. Ly completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Waterloo in 1997 and continued onto the University of Western Ontario to complete his Dentistry degree in 2001. Dr. Ly has been practicing for over 15 years and spends a great deal of his spare time attending continuing education courses so he can provide the most up to date care and treatment techniques for his patients.
General Dentistry includes a complete oral examination, x-rays, teeth cleaning & polishing, plaque removal. Dental Exam As a part of a general dentistry procedure, a full exam will be performed by Dr. Ly at your initial dental visit, which will include medical and dental history. Any conditions being treated or recent surgeries should be mentioned.

Cosmetic Dentistry involves many different treatment options. We have listed an outline of them below. Whenever a tooth has been compromised by injury or decay, Dr. Ly removes the nonviable portion of the affected tooth and then fills the space with a composite filling.
Our teeth are anchored by a deep extension of bone and tissue known as the "root" of the tooth. When we lose a tooth due to trauma or extensive decay, we also lose this root section. Dental implants correct this damage via the insertion of a tiny man-made titanium screw. Once the jawbone fuses with this screw, a replacement tooth can be anchored to it.

My family and I have been with Dr Scott Ly for almost 20 years.
I was worry about my dental implants procedure and what to expect from it.
Thanks to Dr Scott Ly and the teams and the experience was not unpleasant like I thought.
I only felt the pain on the night of the implants.
This morning the areas where the implanted a bit swollen and tender without the pain medication.
Highly recommended Dr Scott Ly for all dental services.

Dr Scott Ly is our go to dentist. I am his patient for more than 15 years now. His office used to be near my house and I still drive 45 minutes after he moved so you know you good he is. His root canal work is amazing. Usually I would expect pain after a root canal but no. I felt like normal next day each time.

Was never a fan of the Dentist BUT that all changed when I visited Dr. Ly and his team.
The receptionist treated me like family, Dr. Ly was very knowledgeable and ensured that my wisdom tooth removal would be easy and painless.
Happy to say that when you visit Davis Dental you are in the best hands.
Thanks to Kelly and the other dental hygienist for taking such great care of me throughout the operation and my follow up appointments.

My experience with dental problems is one the worst imaginable : Bone crafts from hip , from under knee bone,
7 implants - whole 9 yards, therefor I'v seen few dental offices and experts in the field .
2 of them screwed up : one did 2 implants on the low bone so they did not last, another one removed them and did not close the hole to sinuses .
I could not even find the expert to fix this amongst the oral surgeons - But Dr Ly did great job first closing the gap and then building the good amount of bone for implants . Both procedures in my case were very complicated and his professionalism was

I am extremely disappointed with your customer service. Both my parents been coming to you since you’ve been open trusting your honesty and your professionalism.
All these years not know how much each services was to be billed through insurance , when they finally ask one of us to call we found out how much you were charging for a cleaning was horrified.
Trying to support our Vietnamese community turn out we were being over charged and misleading.
Today my parents brought their grand child to do something simply as cleaning and checking up , turns into a surprise $500 bill ! Without notifying

Dr. Ly and his lovely staff are very professional, knowledgable and polite. Beautiful clean office. Had some crowns, root canals and some cavities too. I'm very usually very nervous in the dental chair but I felt very very comfortable at his office. I must say, I had to get some freezing and I did not even feel the needle, absolutely amazing.
