The owner Raj was extremly argumentative and unhelpful when I was in to ask a question re the gauge of my piercing. I could not believe how standoffish she was and unwilling to look into finding out the answer to my question from her earring supplier re the gauge of my piercing so mI could buy earrings for my cartilage upper ear piercing I received from her business. Both my daughter and myself had our piercings done there. if Raj didnt have an answer available for my question she absolutely should have taken my number and name apologized and explained she would look into the matter further for

I have had the pleasure of receiving the services from this Spa for well over 10 years. The new owners are amazing. They go above and beyond to ensure your experience is calm and relaxing. Should you have a concern, they take the time and respond immediately to outline the treatment provided along with the associated costs so you can relax and be assured you are getting the best. Extremely disappointed with the service. Pedicure was 50 dollars done by a pregnant woman who mentioned she had no experience. I will never go back to this place. Owner was also rude and didn’t not give us a receipt for the services. Polish was not included in the 50 dollars. I feel ripped off ! Stay away from this place !

My right ear was pierced with no problem, but when the lady was doing my left ear, she somehow managed to get my mask strap stuck with the piercing so she had a bit of a struggle to take it out. I usually see Susan who has always done an amazing job on brow and wax tint however she has been away quite some time and I was getting desperate. So I made an appointment with someone else. I believe her name was Fab something. I asked her just to clean them up a bit. I didn't want them any thinner because they're already thin enough and I wanted a medium brown tint because they're quite light. Well the jokes on me. They always do such an awesome job. I get my face waxed here pretty regularly and both ladies here do it so good. They know what they are doing. Like my eyebrows are very hard to get done properly because i have a unibrow and they it pretty nicely. They give nice good mani and pedi. I was very impressed and everyone loved it too. Also, they are so good on time and every-time i am in a rush they do such a great job too but keep a time limit.

Please hire a front staff person who knows "something" at all about your pricing and your specials. It is April 21 and she didn't know what your April pedicure special was, either she hasn't bothered to learn or whoever is in charge hasn't taught her! You lost a $100 Service because after driving 30 min. here for a pedicure ( which I asked for a reg pedicure with polish) she booked a sport pedicure which does not come with polish. Actually terrible. The worst Pedicure I think I've ever had. It started with water that was too hot to touch and a chair that lowers your feet into the water... it was so hot I jumped and dropped my purse. I had to get her to put two buckets of cold water in... on the second one she seemed to be upset with me for asking....
During the cuticle cleaning and filing she was so abrasive that she cut me several times. I should have just walked out at this point...
When she got to the polish part of this ordeal she cured the polish with a UV light and put the lamp too close to me and burned my toe

This place is tired and needs significant updating. They have some new pedicure chairs but unless you are having a steam pedicure they stick you in chairs that look like they are falling apart, the soaker part it rusted and had floaty things in it. She tried to tell me it was tea but she didn't put any tea in the water. Was it left over from the last person?. The woman who did my pedicure was not great. She didn't put any effort into it. I've only had facials done here and LOVE THEM. I'm a loyal customer of Vicki and look forward to my facials every year. Very comfy bed (flannel sheets and a light duvet), and a full hour of pampering, including a wonderful neck/shoulder massage. She's also great for recommending skin care products that aren't necessarily sold by the spa. For that, I trust her - unless she's secretly part-owner of Bio-Therm... or London Drugs! ;o)

I would actually do no stars after that brutal service. Spoke to Jenny at 9:a.m. to ask for a pedicure appt for my daughter and myself with Louisa. We were given the 12:30 appt and to consider it booked if we did not hear otherwise. At 6:00 pm I receive a call saying that Louisa is not available and my daughter could have the 12:30 appt alone but if we wanted to do it together it would now be 4:00 pm. I considered the original appt booked as I did not expect to hear back 8 hours later that the 12:30 appt was not available. I will not be returning as a customer. Very disappointed.

I received a gift certificate as a gift for this place and at first was nervous after reading the poor reviews on Yelp. But I had a great experience! I got a shellac pedicure and it waz great. First of all, they got me in same day, and when I was 15min late for my appointment they didn't give me any problems about it :) which I obviously appreciated.

Giving the extra star for carrying Riversol skin care, it's designed local & heard good things about it, esp. good for ppl with sensitive skin. Willing to give it a try after my current Origins stuff runs out.
Also carry another good name, Clayton Shagal.
Think this is a great pit stop as they also offer RMT along with the usual spa services, & convenient when you're shopping at Coquitlam Centre. It's a pretty clean place.

When I arrived for my appointment, the aesthetician informed me that she cannot apply single eyelashes and she can only apply multi lashes because she does not have enough experience. First red flag. She also informed me that they would only last for a week and I would need to come back for a touch-up. Second red flag.

I purchased a Royal Spa Pedi for $60 for my mother's birthday, which was suppose to include a 60 min treatment...needless to say the complete pedi lasted exactly 32 mins. when my mom asked them why it was so short..the persian lady played dumb and pretended to not speak English. My poor mom was so upset as she was totally taken advantage of. When she came home..she showed us her feet and it was absolutely a joke. The nail polish job was a mess, her heal under her foot looked like it wasn't even scrubbed. WE WILL NEVER GO BACK!! HUGE WASTE OF $$$$ & TIME
