Deerfoot Inn & Casino

I have stayed here multiple times and never had a problem but this time was frustrating to say the least. Tried to contact the manger several times since my stay but have heard nothing back about the extra charge on my card. Some of the staff don’t even know if the manger is in or not apparently. Entirely unhelpful.

Overall it is a decent hotel and casino. The staff is very friendly. We especially liked Harwinder, who was very attentive to our needs. He remembered our room number 2 days later when I couldn't even remember it myself. He was very willing and wanting to make sure our every need was met.

Casino was not good to me but my wife did good. Hotel was very nice, room was fairly spacious. We got a king bed with a hide-a-bed which was nice to sit on to watch TV or read. Only complaint was kids on hallway were quite noisy. They have a pool/waterside that all the kids (large and small) were enjoying. Would stay there again

The hotel is nice and clean. They have a quite big free parking space. I wish the check-in was a bit faster without the stamp (to show you have showed the vaccine proof) on the body. They literally put a stamp on your hand just like they do in any club.

I went to eat Dec 31 at Mohave Restaurant New Years Buffet @ 5 pm. I was grossly disappointed in the food this time! I had salmon it was warm in the warming tray, the tiny potatoes looked like small drops that you would squeeze out from a bag you use for squeezing cookies or icing such tiny circles, very small some dried, the so-called tiger prawns in a sauce were discussing! The prawns were at best large shrimp they weren't big at all the cream sauce was watery the taste horrid the shrimp had a musty taste also. I ate 2 and wouldn't eat the rest no way! We went for the New Years Day Brunch. Was not impressed at all..the Buffet meals were cold....ham was ice cold and not even warm....for the price of 24.95 plus 3.50 for a cup of coffee...save your money...will not go back again....the only good thing was the server we had was excellent....

Room was clean and adequate with a king bed, couch, keurig machine and basic toiletries. What they could use is 4 pillows with the choice of 2 firm& 2 soft, lotion and liquid soap rather than bar soap. They had lots of vending machines but the prices were high. We were there for an office Christmas party, the food was ok but nothing was great, and everyone thought the hard alcohol was watered down. Casino was pretty busy but only a few people in our group went and nobody stayed longer than 10 minutes.

Clean, but it wasn’t busy at all. If you are looking for a place full of excitement, the advertisements tell you this is the place to be - but it was more like a seniors resort where nobody talked with each other.
The food was good, but they know their clientele well and that too was heavy on the salt.
I like that this is one of the casinos in Calgary that participates in the school and community group programs (there is a profit sharing scheme that happens when the groups volunteer)

Bedroom was decorated with super creepy heart shaped pillows at 340/ night.
Some crazy lady from Edmonton in town for 54-40 screamed and peed outside our window all night.
Restaurant staff and front desk staff argued and told me my blue stamp vs red stamp was wrong.
Until the desk chick looked it up.
For 1000 dollars for two nights, a deep fried platter and 5 ravioli.

This place exceeded our expectations! The staff in all areas (both hotel and casino) were so pleasant and professional. The rooms were clean and comfortable, the food was amazing!! Had dinner at Mohave Restaurant located inside hotel, seemed a bit pricey at first glance but the quality and quantity of food was superb! Well worth it, would definitely eat there again. Room service the next morning was over the top delicious, the French toast was out of this world. Waffles were amazing, and the bacon cooked to perfection. Enjoyed some time in the casino, won a bit and got to share in the excitement

Wow has this place ever gone down hill. We used to enjoy going here particularly for the Tex Mex cuisine. They are now seriously understaffed and our party of 9 waited for over an hour and a half for just four of us to be served. The other five had to wait an additional 20 minutes or more, including my 6 year old niece who did not get her little slider burgers till everyone else had been served. You'd think given that she is so young and her dish so simple to make that she would have been served first not last. They graciously compted her inexpensive meal, so I guess there was that at

While the fries were good overall the food here is just okay. If you need a quick lunch this place is probably all right but given the proximity to all of the food options on 130th if you check those out first

We had breakfast there as part of our stay with the Deerfoot Hotel. They provide breakfast vouchers for guests, the equivalent of a continental breakfast elsewhere. It was probably one of the best continental breakfast I've had at a hotel. They had scrambled eggs, bacon, hash browns and sausages. Then the usual stuff like waffles, cereal, muffins and pancakes. All good quality and the price is right!

My colleagues and I are staying at the Deer Foot Inn this week and decided to grab dinner last night in the hotel. What an excellent dinner. All 3 of us had different dishes and were blown away how flavorful all of it was. The steak, stuffed chop and the turkey special were amazing. Our waitress was on day 2 of the job and was phenomenal, she's going to do just great here. We will be back.

I recently came here for the dinner buffet at the Mohave Grill. It was quite good, consisting of salads, Mac n cheese, ribs, steamed veggies, prawns, etc. There was also all you can eat prime rib, of which I had two servings. The food was quite good overall, with the exception of the Mac n Cheese. Unfortunately it was rather dry, and it didn't have alot of melted cheese within. Aside from this, the meal was quite good overall, and the prime rib was definitely one of the better ones I have had at an all you can eat buffet. I should also mention that it costs around $30 for the adults, and
