Greatest autoshop in the GTA! I drive a Volvo XC70 with unique problems and this is the only place I take my car because they're passionate about what they do. All of my car's issues are fixed quickly and at affordable prices by a group of super friendly, honest, and professional people.

Only honest place around. Never have feeling of getting ripped off. If you don't need the repair, they won't suggest it and take advantage of you. All qualified mechanics. Many long serving. Several times a dealer or Mr Lube would say I need something. I ask Markham Auto and they say it is not necessary.

Horrible Service. Horrible place to take your vehicle. Took my Car in for a simple oil change and the mechanic "Daniel" who worked on my car decided it was a great Idea to have loose items on him when working/ leaning over the engine bay. The tire pressure gauge that they use here at Markham Auto Repair fell behind the radiator and broke my radiator fan. Causing me to replace the whole radiator. I went back to confront the manager after being told he was not here. Then once I threatened to call authorities or take it to court. Always quality service. Most importantly honest service. Never suggests unnecessary repairs. if you ask for something and you don't need it, they will tell you, you don't need it and not take advantage. Very trustworthy. Mechanics are properly licensed...as such they are dirt cheap, but less than dealers. It is not possible to have qualified staff and be cheap.
One review commented on price of oil change is same as Mr. Lube- which really means it is cheap - Mr. Lube employs non mechanics and students. Mr Lube will pressure you to replace fluids that don't need replacing and

They took me without an appointment. They were friendly and knowledgeable; however as past reviews have said, they aren't the cheapest.
I paid the same here for an oil change as I do at Mr.Lube. & with Mr.Lube always sending me deals for $ off and free wipers, I probably won't come back here again for oil changes.
They were fair and knowledgeable though and I would probably return for any major repairs I might need in the future.

I took my car here twice for regular maintenance. This is a huge private auto mechanic shop: 7 bays to jack up cars (I count it, so this is an estimate), plus a few spaces to work on cars on ground indoor. There is a small area with a TV for customers to wait for their cars. They use a computerized reservation and record system, so they run a tight ship. The guys who took my appointments over the phone were proficient and quick. The receptions in person were both professional and polite. Oil change jobs were okay both times. They have great Saturday hours. The price can be more expensive
