All of our haircut experiences include a consultation, shampoo, condition, scalp massage and blow out. Our price structure reflects the education level of our stylists which is determined by training and practical experience. All colours are applied by our team of professional hair colour technicians.
It all started with two brothers and a simple idea. An idea to build a salon and spa where one could come to look and feel good about themselves while enjoying a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. And so it began - in January of 2000, Felice and Tony initiated the construction of what is known as the "castle" like building on Niagara Street in St. Catharines.
The highest grade of pure peppermint and tea tree oil, deep cleans and heals while invigorating the scalp. I recently had my first cut and style at Valvano Salon and Spa. The staff were amazing. They are very knowledgeable and use their own products in the salon. I have thick curly hair and felt immediately at home with Felice. He knew just how to cut and style my hair in a way that looks great straight and curly. If your looking for professional service by the pros head to Valvano you won’t be disappointed.

My first experience at the salon wasn't great however they were very welcoming and understanding when I asked to get it fixed. Jessica corrected the mistakes and gave me the hairstyle I was looking for. I would recommend the salon and especially Jessica!

Figure I've been enough times, half a dozen at least, that leaving a review is fair.
I get my hair done by Tony and I have nothing but positives to say. He helped find a style that worked for me and I don't see myself going anywhere else now. Super friendly staff, great atmosphere, and a reasonable price.

Tara is such an amazing stylist! The colour she did on me is absolutely wonderful I will never go to anyone else ever again! This salon is very professional and everyone was so kind. Such a relaxing environment to be in. I highly recommend this place and will definitely be back!!

Fantastic salon! I have been going here for years. Huge shout out to Dallas who saved my hair. I had badly damaged my hair with bleach and Dallas was so understanding and sympathetic. She helped me get my hair back to looking normal. I can't say enough about her and the team. Amazing crew. My salon for life

Fabulous experience. It had been a while since I'd attended to my hair, and I was nervous, to be honest. I went in with a photo of my hair from almost 20 years ago that I hoped to revisit in terms of both the color and the cut. They did color, balayage and a cut and all three were outstanding. My hair looked so exactly like what I had asked for and wanted that I nearly cried right there in the shop. Can't thank the folks at Valvano enough, and have already made my next appointment. Bravo!

I had to get my hair fixed because someone just chopped 10 cm off jokingly. My sister recommended going to Valvano salon and to get my hair cut by Dallas. Dallas was super sweet and kind and also very professional. Asked me exactly what I wanted done and did exactly that! The way she washed my hair and massaged my scalp is indescribable. I definitely recommend going to Valvano Salon and to get your hair cut by Dallas! You won't be disappointed because I wasn't!
