Hotel gets one star for the friendly staff, one star for the very comfortable and warm bed, and one star for the complimentary shuttle to the airport. It's looses two stars because the shower was terrible and because the thick curtains over the window don't actually close so the light from the street shines in all night

Reservation was changed to Acclaim. Had an awful experience, paid for things that weren't included in my room because of the booking change. The bathroom shower and tub weren't well cleaned, mold/dirt in between tiles. Old used knife in the drawer? Paint chips and dents all over walls and furniture. The furniture didn't look like it was ever properly cleaned. Key cards kept not working, had to exchange for new ones multiple times. The hot tub wasn't in service, wasn't notified that prior to booking. Needed plastic cutlery for the food I had ordered to the hotel as they forgot to include it in my

Don’t make the same mistake as I did. I recently purchased the 7 park and stay package which claims to include underground parking. Unfortunately, that is a lie as you will be required to pay an additional $9 a day if you want underground parking.
Also, be aware that despite the hotel advertising 24 hour shuttle service the shuttle stops picking people up at the airport at midnight. Because of this, I had to take a taxi from the airport to the hotel and was refused reimbursement by the front desk agent. Even though, the park and ride package was supposed to include complimentary transportation

Nice hotel with clean rooms. We were able to book here very late when WestJet cancelled our flights with no reason given. They even got us toothbrushes because we couldn’t get our baggage.

I booked here as a little staycation with my boyfriend who just arrived from Hawaii. The location is good and the outside of the hotel is beautiful. Once we went to our room, we were a little disappointed as the room didn’t look like the pics I saw online. The decor is very outdated. Our desk in the corner was dirty, there was dried rice all over it. There was a clicking sound coming from the bathroom that kept going off all night so I couldn’t sleep unfortunately but the beds were comfy.
I don’t think I will be booking here in the future.

I was offered another room at 1 in the morning, and it was a huge inconvenience to have to pack up my medical equipment, get dressed, pack up our things and move to another room. If you don’t think that that’s an inconvenience at 1 in the morning that deserves a full refund or a complimentary stay, that just shows how uncaring you are. Also, you are now asking me to contact the hotel again. I have called the hotel and got nowhere because the managers don’t return my call. So your response to my last review is very poor and I hope that others can see through your message. Pick up the phone

Overall the hotel was decent but when there was an issue with my room and I had went down to reception to talk about it is where things went extremely downhill.
Came into a late night check-in and as I was getting settled into the room (unpacking my things moved some bed stuff around etc) I noticed under the corner chair was a sock from what i assumed was a previous guest. Also the washroom supplies (shampoo/body soap etc) was also dirty and crusty with some sort of residue on them.
I went down to reception and just told them the room had the sock and dirty washroom supplies and asked if it was

This place is kept so clean. The wifi is excellent. It's quiet. The rooms are cozy, good pillows, big windows, good air quality. Laundry is available. The rooftop hot tub and gym for the price paid per night; I don't know why anyone would pass this up!

Decent hotel with a great roof top hot tub. The elevator did feel like it was 40 yrs old but did the job. Room was a little small for what we were expecting but no real issues with it....a bar fridge would be nice though. Biggest complaint was the Pacini restaurant attached.....we were seated on the patio and after 20 minutes of the staff walking by us serving other guests, we never even made it to ordering a drink....we left unimpressed and did complain at the front desk. Other than this, it is a nice place to stay, affordable, in a very accessible area to main roads, with little traffic to drive

Calgary, Alberta.

Stayed here for two nights and three days. Was the better lodging experience than the other spots in Calgary.

Room: Spacious enough for two to four people. The staff put me in the corner which was a hassle with all the needless walking. I always ask for the first floor or near the elevators due to my failing heart but I suppose no one believes me that I'm dying based on appearance's sake. Either way, the room came with all the typical stuff: TV, chairs, desk, coffee machine, mini-fridge, etc.

The ice machine was on the floor below which was another issue due to

Great hotel with a spacious provided room. The room was clean, the bed was so comfortable. Pillows were nice and clean as well. Location was to my opinion was great. I'm a huge aviation fan and I enjoy the hotel to view planes coming for landing at approach, and to hear the engine roar as I open the window is satisfying and amazing to listen to as a signal or innovation progression. During night as I sleep. By just closing the window, it silents the jet engines to a very little minimum, where my sleep was comfortably quiet and soft. Downstairs at the lounge, it is also clean and fairly lively

I paid for my room with Expedia and realized when I went to check in I had left my credit card at the last stop. I offered to put any deposit they needed for the room but would not let me check in without a credit card. I have been staying in this hotel since they opened and was told it did not matter. I had to sit in their lobby and took me half an hour to get ahold of Expedia to get my charges reversed. I will never stay here again just terrible service and front staff did not care to resolve the situation.

We ended up staying at Acclaim because all the rooms were booked up at Best Western just 3 minutes driving distance down the street. The rest of our family was staying there so we just booked whatever was closest.

We stayed at the Best Western already our first night in Calgary and we were staying at Acclaim our last night before returning to New York after visiting Banff and Jasper National Parks (which were spectacular).

Living in New York I tend to forget and appreciate the ethnic diversity in my city and only really notice it when I'm traveling. I would have to say the first pleasant

Real new hotel and we were placed here via Shell AeroCenter where our Merlin ship is parked for several days. Hotel approx 4 miles from that location. Nice room, internet simple, good tv and heat/cooling situation. Real short on elec outlets here, bedside. Big item of consideration for myself. Solely because of that I would not likely return. Great service and amenities otherwise however.

Nice, modern lobby and attractive front desk area.

Not sure if the creaking carpeted floors in the hallway are quaint or creepy.

Love the rooftop hot tub, but sure wished they were open later than 10PM, since I didn't check in until 1030! I would have killed for a nice 20 minute soak before going to bed! Went back in the morning to find that it was actually a warm tub...not hot at all! No way of getting in that when it was -18F out there!

Rooms had a certain European feel to them; odd overhead lighting but nice art on the walls. Not enough outlets near the bed for CPAP or charging phone

I was pretty fried after several hours of presenting to a group of teachers in Medicine Hat and then driving roughly 200 miles back to Calgary. I needed a nice, quiet place to rest and recharge and was delighted to discover what a great place this was.

The room was clean (no icky perfume spray), modern and upscale compared to many of the hotels I've used, and VERY comfortable. When my flight was cancelled the next day, I just booked another night here (didn't even look for other options), grabbed the next shuttle back to the hotel, had some lunch (delicious food at the restaurant) and

OMG! This hotel might looked deceiving from the outside because it just looked like a simple plain hotel outside an airport. Once we checked in and got our key, we regret that we only stayed here for one night, because the room was so perfect - a queen bed, a living space with sofa that can be pulled out as full bed, almost full kitchen, just minus stove, basically this is like a suite with a price of just a double-bed room rate.

Front-desk concierge was so nice even when we came super late at night. The rental car even allowed us to return our rental car keys to the Concierge, which they will
