Physiotherapy is a regulated health profession dedicated to improving the quality of its clients' health with conservative physical treatment methods. Physiotherapy is a science based profession. Your Physiotherapist has specific training and education which provides him/her with the skills to evaluate your condition and then design and implement physical treatments with the goal of improving your condition.
Hypnosis is possibly as old as mankind itself. The old myths and misconceptions about hypnosis have given way to proven, scientifically sound applications. Today, the use of hypnosis is seen in a variety of fields, including medicine, dentistry, law enforcement, professional sports and education. Most people have limited understanding of the positive results that can be achieved in a professionally controlled hypnosis session.
Myofascial Release is a therapy for the treatment of skeletal muscle immobility and pain. The therapy relaxes contracted muscles, improves blood and lymphatic circulation, and stimulates the stretch reflex in muscles. Fascia is the soft tissue component of the connective tissue that provides support and protection for most structures within the human body, including muscle.
Your entire skeletal health begins at the feet. Bad posture can lead to decreased mobility and spinal problems over time. How you stand affects all of this, and most people aren't aware that they're standing and walking in a way that could lead to problems down the road. Existing problems that are also treated with Orthotic inserts include Arthritis and Diabetes.
Acupuncture treatment involves insertion of very fine needles into particular points on the body called acupuncture points. It's been shown scientifically to have analgesic, anti-inflammatory and regenerative effects with very few side effects. People experience different sensations with acupuncture.
