To provide, in a congenial atmosphere, effective evidence-based, client-oriented physiotherapy with the aim of returning clients to maximal functional capacity in the most efficient timeframe. We currently assess and treat injuries sustained as a result of motor vehicle accidents, sports injuries, as well as degenerative changes associated with age, including any arthritis.

We do occasionally treat neurological conditions. We continually attempt to evalulate new research and will alter our theory of treatment accordingly. We offer treatments for a wide variety of issues that leave you feeling dizzy. At Grand River Physiotherapy, we have the knowledge and facilities to make you feel like yourself again.
Services
At Grand River Physiotherapy, we strive to treat, restore, maintain and make the most of a patient's mobility, function, and well-being. Our Physiotherapists use evidenced-based, progressive techniques while educating you on the nature of your condition. Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy, University of Toronto, 1991, Dean's List Graduate.
Physiotherapy plays a vital role in healing, rehabilitation and pain relief following bone, muscle, nerve, ligament and joint injuries. This is called vestibular rehabilitation. Physiotherapy treats a number of disorders and injuries such as: Sports injuries, neck and back disorders, headaches, joint problems, fractures, orthopaedic conditions and pre and post-surgical conditions.
If you are then you probably qualify for physiotherapy treatment at our Community Clinic (formerly Harrington Physiotherapy). This clinic was established in 1986 by Patricia Harrington and is partially government funded. Those people who do not have extended health care benefits can receive physiotherapy treatment at a lower rate than at a privately funded clinic.
There are many causes of dizziness. The term "dizziness" should be substituted for more descriptive words to describe your symptoms. Words such as vertigo, which indicates a sensation of movement or spinning, as well as lightheadedness or faintness are more helpful to your doctor when trying to diagnose the specific cause of your "dizziness".
Grand River Physiotherapy / The Harrington Physiotherapy Clinic is pleased to provide the rehabilitation for both total knee and hip replacement post-surgery for the Cambridge region. Find out more information below. Print the Patient Exercise Guide for Knee Replacement Surgery and bring to it all your appointments.

It seems that Katrina makes up her own rules.. This is the only physiotherapy office with 'special' rules on who they can accept as patients. I will go farther with this complaint as it's not right that one person acting as a 'GOD' . All other physiotherapy places are great!!.. Not sure how this place is as Katrina is a very unprofessional office worker.. Not recommended!!..

The entire staff, from the front desk, to the physiotherapists and assistants are just wonderful. Knowledgeable, friendly and caring....not to mention funny. Highly recommend this facility for all your needs! 5 Stars isn't a high enough rating for Grand River Physiotherapy. Definitely, a 10 star rating!

I have gone here for a few different injuries . Fran was very concise in her history taking of the injury and then would make a call and tell me what she thought it was demonstrating the injury using the skeleton , knee or foot joint plastic replicas. She was thorough and explained and demonstrated the exercises l was to perform at home. The assistants for ultrasound or traction were great. Everyone was very friendly and tried to accommodate requests that l had including the front reception . Physio shows you what to do BUT how your recovery is also on yourself to do the exercises prescribed not

If you are having knee replacement surgery this is the place to go for rehab. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable starting with the front desk, to the physiotherapy assistants, to Francis who runs the clinic. This is a hard rehab but with the expertise and experience they have here I made some great gains in a short period of time. Particularly I must mention Sandy, my physiotherapy assistant; she was so pleasant to deal with, always a welcoming smile, so experienced and so much knowledge. There wasn’t a question she couldn’t answer for me. She regularly coached me on the exercises I was

I went here for the first time today. Sat round for 45 minutes waiting for the therapist to come for my initial "assessment" . If that is typical -no thanks-- I left and will never go back.

I was a regular patient of the clinic over a year before I was treated so poorly that I stopped going all together. My therapist was great on the initial consultation, did my assessment and gave me exercises to do. That was the first and only time we discussed my condition, and proceeded with weekly to biweekly treatments. Elizabeth never asked me to show her how I was performing my homework exercises to ensure I was doing them correctly, never checked or changed anything, but continued to schedule regular appointments for treatment. Over the course of the year that I went, she became more short

GRP was amazing. Staff was friendly and professional. My Therapist Sandi was the absolute best. Pushed me to the limits and with a total knee replacement I exceeded the recovery time and abilities with my knee. I cannot thank you enough for giving me back the quality of life I was missing. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a place to rehab after surgery.
