Services
Your initial appointment will consist of a consultation explaining your diagnosis and treatment options. Occasionally, surgery can be performed the same day as the consultation. However, a complex medical history or treatment plan will require an evaluation and a second appointment to provide treatment on another day.
Our office is generally open Tuesday through Friday from 9am to 5pm, with some changes in the schedule depending on the time of year. We will schedule your appointment as promptly as possible. If you are in pain or an emergency situation, every attempt will be made to see you that day. We try our best to stay on schedule to minimize your waiting.
Dr. Slemko strives to deliver the finest surgical care at the most reasonable cost, therefore payment is due at the time service is rendered. Fees are based on dental specialist fees in British Columbia. Some surgeries may be covered totally by the medical services plan of BC (BC Care Card) if applicable.
Wisdom teeth are the last teeth to erupt within the mouth. When they align properly and gum tissue is healthy, wisdom teeth do not have to be removed. Unfortunately, this does not generally happen. The extraction of wisdom teeth is necessary when they are prevented from properly erupting within the mouth.

A team of friendly people who are extremely good at what they do and who genuinely care. I got all 4 wisdom teeth removed and the process was smooth and comfortable.
It hurt like hell the first day back. However, today is the day after the procedure and with the medication they gave me plus the clear instructions I got on how to take care of my gums, I feel as fresh as new and 90 percent of the initial pain I've had has disappeared.
A warm thank you to Dr Slemko, Deborah, Bernice and the kind gentleman who helped me with the anesthetics.
