Services
Our first and foremost priority remains the health and safety of our clients and staff, while maintaining our high standard of quality veterinary patient care. We have all experienced the unpredictability of this pandemic and feel strongly that adopting a cautious strategy is in the best interest of keeping everyone as safe as possible.
To allow ample time for all patients and scheduled surgical procedures, we operate primarily by appointment. Emergency cases shall always receive top priority, which is why occasional appointment delay is inevitable. Please realize that we make a sincere attempt to see each client on time. For your convenience, drop-off appointments are always available.
Congratulations on becoming a first-time pet owner! Along with the excitement and happiness that a new pet brings into the home, a new pet also comes with a huge responsibility. Whether you recently got a new puppy/kitten or adopted a pet in-need of their forever home, Valley Veterinary Services is here to help you navigate your experience as a dog or cat owner.
We understand that you might not always be prepared to meet the financial obligations that present themselves when your companion becomes ill or gets injured. When these circumstances arise, we can assist with making arrangements for financing with PetCard Financing. PetCard provides rapid turn-around approvals through an online financing application.
Spaying or neutering is traditionally done at approximately 6 months of age. We have the expertise and training to safely spay and neuter pets as young as 8 weeks of age. Your pet is given an exam prior to surgery to help determine whether your pet is healthy enough to undergo the surgical procedure.

I had been fostering a dog for a friend and soon after she arrived home she went into heat. I didn’t have any experience with this and called Valley Vet who had been her vet since she was a pup. We booked an… appt to have her spay but unfortunately soon after her heat ended she developed an infection and would need a much more complicated surgery. Valley Vet kept me informed ... were caring and compassionate, gave me two options for her care and kept in contact with me till surgery day. Happily surgery went well and she is recovering at home with several followup consultations on the

Everybody, every visit is so friendly and caring. They treat my boy Shadow so well, like he's one of their own pets. They take the time to explain what is wrong, why and what we can do to help him. I'm sure that the team there has added years to his life and we are so greatful to have them.

This wonderful place was our Vet for 8 years until we moved to 100 Mile last year. Last Thursday when I was visiting family in Chilliwack we had to have our beautiful Sophia put down, I was so grateful my sweet daughter Chelsey was there with me. I called the office and when we arrived Jaquie (my angel) was holding the door open as well as her… arms and she just hugged me as I sobbed holding Sophia. It meant the world to me that she was there for us. Dr Yoon was unbelievably kind and patient, she worked around me holding my baby, spoke with such compassion. Jaquie was by my side when I needed

Always felt welcome by their lovely team - and they've been great with my scruffy little rescue dog. (Have always been so patient with him, letting him have "happy visits" to gain his trust before his first proper visit. Annual vaccinations are now a breeze!)

Fairly new to Valley Vets and wish we had come over sooner. After some misdiagnosis with our pup, Dr. Steinebach was able to properly diagnose our dog and she is a regular happy puppy now, night and day… difference for us. He has been nothing but helpful and informative, I appreciate that he explains procedures ahead of time and gives you time to process or even plan it out. Extremely happy with his services and front staff are kind and courteous as well. Thank you!!

Incredible staff & clinic! We have had some incredibly complicated issues with one of our beloved dogs and, not only was Dr Steinebach completely invested in the treatment, he was more than willing to work closely with other veterinarians/specialists to make a complete diagnosis & come up with a treatment plan. We felt completely supported in a really difficult time. Dr Steinebach was & is the most compassionate, knowledgeable doctor who has succeeding in putting together a top-notch team.
