Costa Law. A place where the office administrator/Legal assistant, Ana Cardoso, will send a time-sensitive demand letter by email, and not by courier, or registered mail. Ask any other legal firm why that would be inappropriate and they will tell you that there is absolutely no proof that the recipient will have received the message. No signature, no proof. How useful will that be in court? It will not stand up in court - and when that demand letter is worth $25,000 for a counter suit.....I will let you figure out how that goes.

Trust me when I say this David is a scam artist he will rinse you of your money. You will receive unknown legal fees with no real explanation or breakdown of where they came from, combined with horrible communication ( I personally never heard from him for weeks about any updates, and when it was time for our meetings he'd literally forget my entire case). Save yourself the trouble and find another lawyer/law firm.

Its comforting to see that we weren't the only people who got rinsed of all their money by this firm. We spent several years paying for unknown legal fees which we never saw a single breakdown for (or any progression in our case for that matter) and eventually our case was passed off shortly before trial. Do not recommend for serious criminal charges, save your money and find representation that is anywhere but here.

Met with our real estate lawyer on Monday to finalize everything for our new home before the keys got released on Friday morning. Turns out our lawyer never sent the documents to the builder until Thursday night, so they didn't arrive by Friday morning. Although I had booked the day off work and planned to start moving early, we literally had to sit around all day waiting for the courier to deliver the documents late Friday afternoon before we could get the keys and move. A big stress that could have been avoided if our lawyer acted quicker.
