I attended law school at the University of Manitoba earning the Pitblado Scholarship in 2007 for the Dean's Honour List, and graduated in 2009. In 2010 I became fully licensed to practice law in Ontario by the Law Society of Upper Canada. I practiced as an associate lawyer with Larson Lawyers (previously known as Rene Larson Law Office) from 2010 until opening my own firm in 2017.

Serge is a lawyer who put confidence back in me that the family law system can work. Serge was an amazing lawyer. He helped me through my separation and subsequent divorce from 2016-19. He was polite, respectful and supportive. Whenever a communication (letter, email, etc) came through from opposition, he would quickly forward it to me and was prepared to immediately respond after I had a chance to review it all. I met with Serge for a consultation regarding my divorce. I was completing much of my own legal paperwork, but I had run into a roadblock and had many questions. Serge was very welcoming and easy to talk to, and he answered all of my questions and gave me a gameplan for moving forward. With his help, I was able to complete my divorce. I retained Serge about 6 years ago for my family law case. before he had his own firm and was employed elsewhere. When my exwife figured out I was paying for a lawyer she would email him all kinds of ridiculous stuff all in an attempt to cost me money as every email he would respond to cost me somewhere in the neighborhood of $50. I spoke to Serge and told him to stop responding to her stupid emails. " he refused and said he had to because I retained him."
