We are a family-owned and operated auto repair shop specializing in Asian and domestic cars serving Bend Oregon and Central Oregon for over 35 years. Started in 1983 by Kaj and Michelle Larsen, we have grown to a team of six highly trained and customer-dedicated individuals focusing on the maintenance and repair of your car and getting to know you, the driver.

Services
For example, a "tune up" may mean different things to different technicians. Prices will vary depending on whether the tune up is a Basic, Major, or Performance type. Each requires different parts and labor to complete. Ask us for a quote on what you need. As you probably know, cars manufactured after 1981 have engine computers that control various operations of your vehicle and generally make them run more efficiently.
Brandon is our youngest technician and his goal is to first "work unto the Lord" and then make every customer interaction into a lifetime customer. Marty is another of our mechanics that has the dedication, passion, and knowledge to repair your car with confidence. Motto: "In all the work I am doing, I work the best I can, I work as if I am doing it for the Lord."

My family was on a road trip from California and up through Oregon when we had some engine trouble. A local oil shop in Bend recommended Happy Danes, and I'm glad they did! They were able to help determine the issue quickly, order the parts and got us back on the road! They were also great with communicating with us, sending text message and phone call updates in order to keep us updated.

Recently my throwout bearing and clutch went out on my truck, I called around to multiple shops hoping they would have availability to work on my transmission, most shops could not take my truck in for weeks. Happy danes has excellent service and mechanics that will take full care of your vehicle. They even changed a couple fuses that were out in my rig, completely separate to the transmission work being done. Their dedication and hard work got me back in my truck and working again quickly...

They helped me get my charger back on the road with no issues along with my Subaru, and in little time cause they knew how important it was that I had them to work. They were honest about what's going on under the hood and explained everything in detail to me. The front ladies are always so kind and were a big reason I enjoyed coming there. A big thank you to Karl who fixed up my charger. I love that car and you took good care of me. Thank everyone! You'll see me again
