We are located at 284 King Street West - 1st Floor, inside Toronto Antiques on King, "The Anderson Building". Driving - The City of Toronto aims to reduce congestion on King Street. Lost my fiancee's grandmother's ring (who had recently passed) after bringing it to the shop to have it repaired. Cynthia made no thorough attempts to find the ring. How do I know? It was only after my Fiancee had cried in front of some customers that Cynthia called the next day and had found the ring. This was after almost two months.

As it's usually the case with my reviews, I've waited until I had several visits and interactions with Cynthia before taking the time to write. I question the motives of those giving one-star ratings and writing reviews solely based on one visit/interaction.
I've met Cynthia approximately two years ago, after reading about businesses that buy and sell antique jewellery. Prior to my first visit to her store I went to three businesses and it was very clear to me that honesty was going to be difficult to find in this type of business. That is, until I came across Cynthia, her husband and staff.

Given it is covid, I was able to search the website, narrow a selection and book an appointment, Cynthia was able to choose others based on my initial thoughts and I found the most unique and incredible ring. I was never pushed, Cynthia has a magical way about her.

Be more attentive to what is promised and said. I sold some items and was happy but items that she asked me to ship she decided was not going to buy and has delayed for over a month to get back to a friend in Toronto. She will not ship them directly to me and they were sent at her request. So no regard for having to take responsibility and then declining to ship to me or buy items as originally agreed. While a nicer person to chat with out of sight out of mind!
